Caffe Panna Cookies 'n Candy CanesCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Cookies ‘n Candy Canes is labeled as Oreo infused panna sweet cream with peppermint fudge and candy cane crunchies Oreo ice cream is very tricky because you would have to provide the sweet cream of the sandwich cookie and the wafer into one element. Caffe Panna's sweet cream tone is luscious, rich, and packed full of flavor. The base provides a thick and premium density that is right up there with some of the best in the game. Even with the oreo compliment, the wafer cookie aspect takes the backseat. For folks who enjoy oreo milkshakes or an oreo McFlurry from McDonald's take that and enhance the thickness and quality by a large margin. The peppermint fudge is dense, chewy, and extremely soft. The richness of the fudge goes hand in hand with the chocolate aspect of the oreo sweet cream Panna ice cream. While the peppermint is not over the top it gives this flavor a great balance similar to the peppermint bark oreos from the past. The candy cany crunchies are candy canes crushed up into shards that give this flavor a bite of sweetness to really dial up the peppermint flavor. For someone like me who is not a major peppermint fan, I like how Caffee Panna made this a dominant oreo flavor with the backend of peppermint to shine through in a subtle amount to give you a refreshing compliment. While this is not going to be my first choice in the Christmas pack, for any diehard peppermint fan this will strike gold. Grade: B- Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna White Flag Caffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. White Flag is labeled as "Sweet cream made with an extra splash of Panna, layered with graham crunch. Long requested simple perfection:". The sweet cream base from Caffe Panna is one of the best on the market. Caffe Panna's sweet cream is luscious, rich, and packed full of flavor and has a premium density that is like no other. Sweet Cream does not contain any eggs or vanilla. It is based on milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cream cheese. Even with a sheer amount of mix-ins, it doesn't phase the quality of the base in each and every bite. When it comes to execution Caffe Panna is on top of its game. The solo mix-in is the graham crunch being a Caffe Panna special. The combination of butter, sugar, graham crackers and salt is all that is needed to make this masterpiece. The extra hint of salt from the graham crunch amplifies the sweet cream base. This is similar to the flagship flavor Red Flag from Caffe Panna without the swirl. With that said this is a great flavor to pair with your favorite holiday dessert like Pecan Pie or use as an affogato. Grade: C- Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Pumpkin Cheesecake Caffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Pumpkin Cheesecake is labeled as "Pumpkin cheesecake ice cream with cheesecake swirl and gingersnap crunch". Caffe Panna's Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream is superb. As I dug into the orange ice cream the texture is smooth, creamy, and decadent. This is a subtle pumpkin flavor and provides enough nutmeg and cinnamon to keep you interested. The cream cheese is added to compliment the pumpkin base, which is where the cheesecake portion shines. There is a pronounced tang to this ice cream, but with how deep the pumpkin flavor is there is still a good balance to both flavors without one overpowering the other. The cheesecake swirl is promising as you can see it pooling throughout the pint. The consistency of Caffe Panna and its mix-ins is always a strong point. The extra luscious flavoring in the swirl pairs with the elements found in the base to amplify the experience. The gingersnap crunch reminds me of the Nabisco cookies but bursting with cinnamon sugar. The soft and chewy inclusions in the ice cream boost the cinnamon found in the ice cream. The crunch pieces are scattered throughout the ice cream with a nice buttery undertone. This flavor is really well done. The base is phenomenal, and the mix-ins really stand out. If I were to nitpick this flavor the swirl could use a touch more vanilla and a hint of salt to make the flavors pop. All in all, this is superb. Grade: A- Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Candy Corn Pretzel
Caffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Candy Corn Pretzel is labeled as "Fresh sweet corn ice cream with candy corn and housemade pretzel brittle." First of all, I am not a huge corn fan, but when Hallie Meyer is crafting ice cream you go into it with an open mind. Just popping the lid you get an authentic corn aroma that fills the air around you. The creamy fresh sweet corn ice cream is incredible. It blisters your taste buds with a rich corn sweetness that resembles corn on the cob plastered with melted butter. The richness and creaminess of the ice cream are spectacular. The candy corn is simply the candy folded into the ice cream. it helps enhance the fantastic base with an added luscious element. The extra chewy compliment packs a sweetness to amplify the corn ice cream. The pretzel brittle stays buttery, sugary, and salty throughout the experience. Each bite of brittle was delicious and had the perfect texture to accommodate the outstanding base. Overall this flavor is very straightforward but executed extremely well. I was very fond of the fresh sweet corn ice cream and how much flavor it truly packed. When combined with the brittle and candy corn it made a very enjoyable experience. Caffe Panna Spice LatteCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Spice Latte is labeled as "Spiced Panna & Coffee Ice Cream With Candied Ginger and Pumpkin Spice Cookie Chunks" The spiced Panna & coffee ice cream is lacking the coffee aspect of the ice cream. The overpowering ginger is at the forefront of flavor while the undertone of cinnamon and nutmeg is lost in the shuffle. The density of the ice cream is fantastic as always. Caffe Panna's consistency is one of the best on the market and the quality is what shines. The pumpkin spice cookie chunks are phenomenal. Whenever Caffe Panna uses cookies you already know they are going to be soft, chewy, and melt in your mouth perfectly. It is like they are fresh out of the oven and tossed right into your ice cream that is how good they are. The buttery cinnamon sugar and nutmeg help the base where those spices do lack. While this is not an over-the-top pumpkin flavor it is just enough for anyone who likes anything pumpkin to love this inclusion. While this isn't my top choice of the pack it has its pros and cons. The ice cream is awesome, and the cookies are top-tier. If Panna could up the coffee aspect and lower the ginger spice this one would have a much better balance in my opinion. Caffe Panna Pistachio Oatmeal CookieCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Pistachio Oatmeal Cookie is labeled as "Sicilian Pistachio Ice Cream With Soft Baked Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and Golden Raisin Caramel" The Sicilian pistachio base ice cream is one of the best from Caffe Panna. As expected the Caffe Panna base is very rich, dense, and creamy. There is a slight earthly flavor that tickles your taste buds. This is not an overpowering flavor by any means but shines just enough to let the mix-ins do the talking. The golden raisin caramel swirl is locked and loaded. From top to bottom this is pooled all over the place in globs. The luscious caramel is thick and provides a syrupy liqueur backend taste. The amount of sweetness provided by the golden raisin enhances the pint with a hybrid honey inclusion. The oatmeal cookies are fantastic. The cookies are very soft, chewy, and melt in your mouth. I personally think the addition of raisins in the oatmeal cookies would only enhance this pint, but beggars can't be choosers. I for one am not a huge pistachio person, but I went into this flavor with an open mind and came out a believer. Caffe Panna continues to work its magic on getting me out of the comfort zone of flavors I prefer. All of the elements from the base, swirl, and mix-ins are paired in tandem to make one of the best flavors I have scooped from the brand. Grade: A Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Apple CrispCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Apple Crisp is labeled as "Crème Fraiche Vanilla Ice Cream, Spiced Apple Oat Crumble" The Creme fraiche vanilla ice cream is a tangier and richer sour cream-based ice cream. The ice cream has a sweet & rich, vanilla base flavor with creamy dense ice cream. The luscious aftertaste of the vanilla shows how pure the vanilla beans Hallie is using for her ice cream. As simple as it sounds Caffe Panna doesn't need a whole lot to impress you because their quality is top-tier. The spiced apple oat crumble is a fantastic mixin. If you like apple pie think about infusing the center with a crushed-up oatmeal bake. The chunks are scattered evenly throughout the pint and have a freshly baked butter undertone to them. The apple flavor is sharp, but the cinnamon and nutmeg spice in the backend helps go hand in hand with the picture-perfect vanilla base ice cream. Think about having an apple pie with an oatmeal-infused crust with a huge dollop of ice cream on top. This is in essence what you are getting with this Caffe Panna flavor. Caffe Panna PannabunCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Pannabun is labeled as "Cinnamon Bun in Pint Form. Cream Cheese Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Soft Baked Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Dough, Salted Cinnamon Bun Pecan Filling" The premium cream cheese vanilla bean ice cream took me by surprise. The base is creamy, and rich, but has a hint of tang in the backend. I would state this base is sweet and slightly tart, but more sweet than tart. The elegance of the vanilla pairs well with the cream cheese to really enhance the lusciousness of the flavor. How Caffe Panna was able to resemble the icing of a cinnamon roll as a base was the correct choice for this flavor. The soft baked cinnamon sugar cookie dough is similar to the SweetDoughNYC used in many of Caffe Panna's pints. The kicker is how much cinnamon and sugar are laced on the outside of the inclusion. While the flavor is not overpowering, it strikes a happy medium for your taste buds to mesh well with the superb base. The salted cinnamon bun pecan filling is a hybrid pecan pin and soft chewy cinnamon bun chunks. Caffe Panna was able to find the right texture for this that runs from top to bottom in almost every single bite. Not only is this pint loaded with mix-ins, but it strikes the perfect balance of eating a cinnamon bun doused in frosting and sprinkled with candied pecans. For anyone who loves cinnamon buns, this is one you won't want to miss. Grade: A- Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna GhostCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Ghost is labeled as "Fresh Cinnamon Stick Infused Panna Sweet Cream With Chewy Ranger Fudge Chunks" The fresh cinnamon stick infused Panna sweet cream ice cream is unique. The base is extremely creamy, soft, and well-tempered right out of the freezer. The cinnamon stick infused ice cream is subtle but just enough to really tickle your taste buds. The cinnamon could be stronger, but it would take away from the mix-ins with the ranger chunks. The ranger chunks are not rare in the Panna lineup. They were featured in "IceCreamBuyThePint". These chunks are massive in size. The semi-sweet chocolate chunks can overpower the backend cinnamon flavor found in the base. The cinnamon chocolate combination is a unique pairing, but Caffe Panna found the correct happy medium to make this one pop. Overall this is a very basic flavor from Caffe Panna that includes a base and single mix-in but is executed extremely well. The fine balance of flavors between the base and ranger chunks is just right and forms an ideal pairing. Grade: B Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Pumpkin Spice S'moresCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Pumpkin Spice S'mores is labeled as "Spiced Heilala Vanilla Pumpkin Ice Cream (Made With a Spice Blend Especially for Us!), Cinnamon Caramel Marshmallow Swirl, Van Leer Chocolate Chunks, Housemade Graham Crunch" The base is heavy on pumpkin but still has an elegant vanilla flavor on the backend. The pumpkin is strong enough to present itself, but it is not overpowering. As you know the density of the ice cream is fantastic from Caffe Panna. The creamy, rich, and soft ice cream doesn't need a lot of time to temper as it has the right consistency directly out of the freezer. The cinnamon caramel marshmallow swirl is unique, but it is hidden among all the other mix-ins. The caramel and marshmallow are present, but the cinnamon is a lingering aspect in the backend of the swirl The Van leer chocolate chunks and graham crunch are no strangers to Caffe Panna. These are extremely consistent from top to bottom and in almost every single bite. The graham crunch has a unique buttery undertone with the perfect crunch. The chocolate chunks have a semi-sweet chocolate flavor to them that pairs well with pumpkin. Many will think chocolate and pumpkin do not go together, but Caffe Panna finds a way to make it work. I personally would have liked to see more swirl included in this pint, but all the other aspects hold this one together. Grade: B Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Living the Cream Chef Bob Reserve No. 1Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Chef Bob Reserve No. 1 is labeled as " Vegan Peanut butter ice cream, nutella bars, chocolate covered potato chips, and an oreo marshmallow swirl." The vegan peanut butter ice cream is similar to real peanut butter out of a jar. When peanut butter meets high-quality ice cream you taste a high buttermilk fat content. The density is very thick as Living the Cream's bases are right up there like Salt & Straw, Caffe Panna, and Clementines. If I were to nitpick the base I would like a little bit more salt to really get this flavor to pop. Due to the fact this was vegan peanut butter, I did not expect it to taste as rich as a regular peanut butter base. The Nutella bars are huge chunks of fudgy, soft, and chewy bars. These are one of the best things Living The Cream has made with the sheer execution of the mix-in. The thick coatings of Nutella between each compliment make them shine. The chocolate-covered potato chips have a perfect amount of salt within them to make the coated mix-in pop. Potato chips are tricky because they can get stale and lose flavor, hence why Living the Cream coated them to enhance the flavor and quality contorl. The oreo marshmallow swirl is an unrefined feature from Living the Cream, but as you know he is not shy with swirls. The oreo marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, luscious, and have a blistering oreo flavor that pairs well with the peanut butter base. I may be biased since the flavor was made for me with some of my ideas, but Living the Cream pulled an audible on a caramel swirl and it really was the right choice. The oreo marshmallow goes well with the Nutella bars and potato chips as an extremely gooey compliment. The chewy bars and crisp potato chips all sync together to make one of Living the Cream's best flavors to date. Grade: A+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Basic B SeasonLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Basic B Season is labeled as "Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with graham cracker swirls, pumpkin pie kit kats, and pumpkin spice Oreos.:" Living The Cream has a dense thickness in his ice cream, even without using eggs. Vanilla Bean is a unique flavor. Vanilla bean is used in flavoring most desserts, including ice cream, custard, cake, candy, and pudding. I also find it as one of my favorite coffee creamer flavors. The richness and purity of this base are phenomenal. The real star of the show is the graham swirls. While these do not pool around the pint they are thick, crunchy, and consistent chunks from top to bottom. The Pumpkin Pie Kit Kats and Pumpkin Spice Oreos are seasonal classics from Oreos and Kit-Kat. Both provide enhanced cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger element to enhance the graham swirl. The kit kats did get a touch hard, but that is to be given when putting candy into ice cream. The Oreos on the other hand had a very soft chew like they were fresh out of the package. If you are a fan of anything pumpkin this flavor has it all. The vanilla bean base was a very smart idea to let the mix-ins and swirl shine with flavor. Overall the execution was great, but the kit kat hardness will cost some points. Grade: B+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream YOLO Rolo OreoLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. YOLO Rolo Oreo is labeled as "Oreo ice cream, caramel swirls, oreo brittle, and rolo pretzel chocolate bark." Oreo ice cream is very tricky because you would have to provide the sweet cream of the sandwich cookie and the wafer into one element. Living The Cream's sweet cream tone is luscious, rich, and packed full of flavor. The base provides a thick and premium density that is right up there with some of the best in the game. Sweet Cream does not contain any eggs or vanilla. It is based on milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cream cheese. Even with the oreo compliment, the wafer cookie aspect takes the backseat. For folks who enjoy oreo milkshakes or an oreo McFlurry from McDonald's take that and enhance the thickness and quality by a large margin. The Oreo brittle is similar to the famous sandwich cookie with an extra hint of crunch on the outside. The extra bite it provides goes perfectly with the premium ice cream in the base. The caramel is salty, sweet, and thick. While it is not as thick as some of the other Living the Cream's swirls its flavor pairs well with the oreo ice cream. The rolo pretzel bark is chocolate-coated pretzels with infused Rolo candy. This is genius as the caramel from the Rolo's and the chocolate from the candy and bark go hand in hand to enhance the oreo base and caramel swirls. The density and thickness of the mix-in has a great bite and texture that still melts in your mouth as you bite into it in ice cream. This is a great flavor. The oreo base can use a bit more density to truly stick out, but the mix-ins really shine in this offering. All in all, a must-grab flavor for those who love chocolate, Oreos, and caramel. Living the Cream Take 5Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Take 5 is labeled as "Salted Pretzel ice cream, caramel swirls, no-bake PB-oat cookies, and Chocolate covered pretzels." The first bite of the pretzel-infused base is spectacular. The base is very smooth, creamy, and has a mild salty flavor to it. There is a small hint of the vanilla-infused base with the dominant pretzel aftertaste. While this is not a flavor you typically see being made in the ice cream industry it leaves the door open for countless possibilities with mix-ins and additions to enhance the saltiness and flavor of an ice cream base. The caramel swirls are pooling from side to side and top to bottom. The caramel is rich and luscious while the chocolate provides a bold element. The sheer amount of flavor this packs on top of a gooey and runny swirl makes it go hand-in-hand with the premium ice cream. The chocolate-covered pretzels are done in the correct fashion. Heavily coated to prevent any sogginess, and heavily salted. The extra salt makes the mix-ins pop as well as amplifies the base flavor. The no-bake PB oat cookies are fantastic. Very soft, chewy, moist, and have that nutty texture from the oatmeal blended into the base cookie. These are good, but I feel as if the peanut butter flavor from them lacks a touch from this inclusion. The base, swirls, and inclusions are all great in this experience, but the oat bars could use a bit more peanut butter to my liking. The amount of salt from the inclusions and swirl really helps the base pop. Overall it's a great flavor and one you should grab if on the menu from Living the Cream. Living the Cream The KingLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. The King is labeled as "Banana ice cream, candied bacon, peanut butter swirls, and PB&J bars with grape jelly". The banana base by Living the Cream uses is spectacular, unlike a normal banana-flavored base. Being a consumer who is not fond of fruity flavors this one was fantastic. When I took my first bite I was in awe of how pure and rich the banana shined. While the banana flavor is very straightforward forward it sets the flavor up to let the mix-ins shine. Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. The candied bacon adds the right amount of salt and crisp texture to enhance this flavor. While an unrefined mix-in for ice cream it works in this combination like Salt & Straw pulled off with their Elvis flavor. The PB&J bars with grape jelly are spectacular. Thick, chewy, and oozing with grape jam. The grape jam helps balance the sweet and savory aspects of this pint. This flavor will not be for everyone because bacon is a roll of the dice when it comes to a mix-in for ice cream. When you throw in savory aspects into a dessert such as ice cream it can be a mixed bag for feedback. This flavor combination has been around for a long time and it does work but the execution has to be on point. Grade: B Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Self CareLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Self Care is labeled as "Oreo ice cream, Marshmallow swirls, Banana bread chonkers, and PB Chocolate Chip cookie dough." Oreo ice cream is very tricky because you would have to provide the sweet cream of the sandwich cookie and the wafer into one element. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor that pairs well with the peanut butter base to make a fluffernutter combo. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock hard when frozen in ice cream. The peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough chunks are soft and provide a chewy mix-in. The cookie dough chunks provide molasses, brown sugar, and a buttery undertone. With a backend of peanut butter flavor, it helps enhance the oreo base. Lastly, the banana bread chonkers are very soft, moist, and chewy inclusions cubed throughout the experience. The buttery undertone shows how well Living the Cream baked these and folded them into his ice cream. This one is a bag of mixed tricks with cookie dough, banana bread, marshmallow swirls, and oreo ice cream. Banana and Oreo do go together and Caffe Panna proved that point. Living the Cream put the stamp of approval with this one. Grade: B+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Brownie PointsLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Brownies Points is labeled as "Brownie Batter ice cream, Caramel swirls, Half-baked brownies, and Double chocolate chip cookie dough." The brownie batter ice cream is bold and rich in flavor. There is a dark chocolate element that brings a strong aspect that surpasses what you would find in a normal grocery pint. The density of the cocoa in this flavor gives no bitter aftertaste. Living The Cream did a great job masking any dullness associated with a high cocoa content. I always prefer milk chocolate due to the sweetness and luscious aspect of it, but this one was done really well and packs a punch. The half-baked brownies are reminiscent of undercooked brownies that have an incredibly squishy and gooey center. This is my preference for brownies instead of the crispy outer edges. The dough itself is delicious, soft, and flavorful cookie dough chunks that will cover 3/4th of the pint. The chocolate cookie dough was really rich and had a strong flavor that overpowered the regular cookie dough. The caramel swirls are salty, sweet, and thick. While it is not as thick as Living the Cream's marshmallow or peanut butter swirls its flavor pairs well with the brownie batter ice cream. For the chocoholics out there this one is for you. It is like taking Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Therapy and infusing it with a blistering caramel swirl. The density and richness of the ice cream really shine and make this one a great experience. Living the Cream PB - Blueberry PieLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. PB Blueberry Pie is labeled as "Blueberry Ice Cream with peanut butter gooey butter cake, peanut butter swirls, and brown sugar graham crunch" A huge problem with fruity flavors on the market is they can taste artificial and fake. Living the Cream found a pure blueberry flavor that leaves a savoring luscious aftertaste. The density of the blueberry is like fresh blueberry preserves frozen into a dessert. While this is not over the top the overall richness is just right to soothe your taste buds and make each scoop linger on your taste buds. Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. The graham crunch is very similar to what you would find from Caffe Panna as buttered graham crackers. The buttery undertone with a forefront of cinnamon sugar is a fantastic combo to go hand in hand with the blueberry base. The butter cake is moist and packed with a strong peanut butter aftertaste. The texture of the mix-ins is incredibly soft and provides the perfect chewiness to compliment the thick base. It is amazing how fresh these butter cake pieces can be even when frozen in ice cream. Living the Cream can really make fruity flavors pop, and this is no exception. His PB Swirls are lethal with two great complimenting mix-ins. While I am not the biggest fruit fan, this is the sleeper of the last batch of pints I grabbed off him. The PB, cinnamon, and blueberry combo works in unison to make one heck of a dessert. Caffe Panna Blueberry Banana BreadCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Blueberry Banana Bread is labeled "Sour cream blueberry ice cream with blueberry swirl loaded with soft blueberry banana bread chunks from Allies Banana Bread" A huge problem with fruity flavors on the market is they can taste artificial and fake. Caffe Panna found a pure blueberry flavor that leaves a savoring luscious aftertaste with a hint of tartness from the sour cream. The sour cream compliment is subtle but noticeable but that is inevitable with how dense the blueberry flavor is. While this is not over the top in flavor the overall richness is just right to soothe your taste buds and make each scoop linger on your taste buds. Allies Banana Bread provides a ripe banana forefront flavor and buttery blueberry aftertaste. These mix-ins are freshly baked and folded into the ice cream. The collab strikes a home run with how the blueberry and banana flavors congeal together to strike a nice harmony on your tastebuds. The base is then amplified with the inclusion of the blueberry swirl. The swirl is gooey, thick, rich, and bursting with flavor. The swirl lingers from the very top and pools its way to the very bottom. The consistency of mix-ins and swirls is incredible from Caffe Panna. If you are a fruity fan that enjoys a bit of tang you will love this sour cream inclusion. How Caffe Panna can keep a very pure and dense fruity flavor in ice cream is remarkable. A lot of companies fail, but Caffe Panna continues to find a way to stay ahead of the game and deliver. The addition of the Allie Blueberry Banana Bread Chunks is solid. Being a consumer who is not fond of fruity flavors this one raised my eyebrow. When I took my first bite I was in awe how pure and rich the banana shines. Combine the roasted aspect gives this a burnt brown sugar enhancement that makes it stand out among the ice cream community. The Oreo Brittle and Oreo ganache swirl will remind you of Oreo PB from the first Goldbelly pack. There is a happy medium of sweet cream and milk chocolate in each and every bite of the swirl just like you would imagine biting into America's favorite cookie. The oreo brittle stays buttery and sugary throughout the experience. Each bite of brittle was delicious and had the perfect texture to accommodate the banana base. With oreo brittle & oreo ganache swirling in each and every bite, it starts to overpower the banana base. Who would think bananas and oreo sandwich cookies would go together? I was not a believer until I bite into this ice cream. The only thing I would change is how to enhance the roasted banana base as it is overpowered by the mix-ins. Some may not like this combination, but it grew on me the more I dug into the pint. Grade: C+ Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York
