Caffe Panna Peanut Butter S'moresCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Peanut butter S'mores is labeled as "Peanut butter ice cream with buttery graham crunch milk chocolate cubes, and peanut butter marshmallow swirl" The peanut butter ice cream is exactly like real peanut butter out of a jar, but better. When peanut butter meets high-quality ice cream with such a high buttermilk fat content the sheer amount of flavor truly shines. The density in Caffe Panna's bases is unlike anything on the market which makes them truly stand out. Just this flavor alone could be combined with so many different mix-ins or varieties on their lineup to make absolute dynamite flavors. The buttery graham crunch is a Panna staple. It provides a nice crunchy texture to the big picture with a nutty backend taste. The milk chocolate cubes are denser versions of the Amano chocolate shards. They are packed with a bittersweet chocolate flavor. The peanut butter and marshmallow swirls are what steal the show. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor that pairs well with the peanut butter base to make a fluffernutter combo. The peanut butter is thick, rich, and has a hint of salt in the backend to make this swirl pop. This one is fantastic from start to finish. The peanut butter base from Caffe Panna is spectacular, and the mix-in game was impeccable. From top to bottom it is hard to nitpick this one besides a bit more salt in the base. Besides that, this is one of Caffe Panna's best flavors. Grade: A+ Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Nutty Dark TimesCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Nutty Dark Times is labeled as "Cookie-soaked chocolate milk ice cream loaded with Dark Horse cookies from citycakes (our favorite cookie from them), and a Piedmontese hazelnut fudge ganache swirl" The cookie-soaked chocolate milk ice cream is the definition of unique. The initial chocolate taste is a classic flavor but has an additional element to make it pop. The base is creamy, dense, and has a sweet but balanced elegant touch There is a small hint of a butter cookie undertone in the backend. The fragments of flavor that hit your taste buds of cookies soaked in milk are lingering into the aftertaste. The Piedmontese Hazelnut fudge ganache swirl is absolutely fantastic. The rich chocolate fudge meets a nut-based flavor that has a deeply nutty and lingering buttery taste in the backend. The fudge has a premium texture that is thick but extremely gooey as you spoon it into each bite of ice cream that contains the swirl. The dark horse cookies contain dark onyx cocoa cookie dough with sweet Callebaut chocolate chips, and flakes of black mediterranean sea salt on top. It is the perfect cookie and brownie hybrid with a touch of oreo. How Caffe Panna finds a way to make these unrefined flavors is truly a testament to Hallie's hard work. When you mix one of the best cookie and ice cream companies in the United States into one pint of ice cream you get one heck of an outcome. Chocolate lovers beware this one is bursting with flavor. Caffe Panna Bob's Dream Caffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Bob's Dream is labeled as "Bringing back an original fan favorite! Peanut butter ice cream, salted cookie dough chunks from sweetdoughnyc, Oreo brittle, dark fudge. Everyone’s dream, thanks to Bob." The peanut butter ice cream is exactly like real peanut butter out of a jar, but better. The salted cookie dough from SweetdoughNYC is superb. The only minor adjustment is it needs a touch more salt. The chewy and rich cookie dough pairs very well with a dense dark fudge is loaded from side to side throughout this experience. The richness of the fudge is almost brownie batter in flavor. The added Oreo Brittle has a nice bite to complement the chewy cookie dough. The brittle reminds me of crushed-up Oreo cookies with an extra crunchy texture. The goal behind Bob's dream was to combine peanut butter, chocolate, cookie dough, and sandwich cookies. Caffe Panna made my dream come true by replicating a flavor I designed. While this flavor is fantastic a small minor tweak could make it legendary. Grade: A Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Carrot Cake 2022Caffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Carrot Cake 2022 is labeled as "Spiced golden Oreo infused ice cream, candied pecans, cream cheese frosting dollops, and chunks of the very best lloydscarrotcake" The spiced golden oreo infused ice cream is very tricky because you would have to provide the sweet cream of the sandwich cookie and the wafer into one element. Caffe Panna found a way to get the butter undertone of the sandwich cookie into a frozen dessert. The base provides a thick and premium density that is right up there with some of the best in the game. Sweet Cream does not contain any eggs or vanilla. It is based on milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cream cheese. Even with the oreo compliment, the wafer cookie aspect takes the backseat. The candied pecans are spectacular. The dense and sugary candied pecan pieces are loaded from top to bottom. The best part is how thick and dense they are. The spiced cream cheese swirl provides the tangy element you would find plastering the top layer of a carrot cake. The thickness of the swirl is amplified the further you dig down the pint. Lastly, the carrot cake chunks are to die for. The carrot cake chunks are the best part of this ice cream. The chewy, moist, and thick cake pieces provide the cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove enhancement you would expect from a carrot cake. There is even small cream cheese layered between the pieces making it amplify the swirl. The only change Caffe Panna made from Pecan Carrot Cake in 2021 was the base. This version uses a Spiced Golden Oreo base while the latter had a toasted pecan base. Grade: A Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Pistachio S'moresCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Pistachio S'mores is labeled as "Sicilian pistachio ice cream, Van Leer milk chocolate chunks, fudgy brownies, housemade cocoa marshmallow puffs and buttery graham crunch." As expected the Caffe Panna base is very rich, dense, and creamy. There is a slight earthly flavor that tickles your taste buds. This is not an overpowering flavor by any means but shines just enough to let the mix-ins do the talking. Similar to what was found in Pistachio Explosion the base provides a backend flavor to what the mix-ins provide in the pint. The chocolate chunks are bursting with richness as expected from Van Leer milk. They have an extra density of flavor that gives over the Amano chocolate shards. The fudgy brownies are moist, dense, and extremely chewy. They hold their composure just right into a frozen dessert. The buttery graham crunch is a Panna staple. It provides a nice crunchy texture to the big picture with a nutty backend taste. The housemade cocoa marshmallow puffs have a soft chew to them that brings the classic S'more flavor to life. The sweetness of the marshmallow meets chocolate to give you the major aspect of a true S'mores dessert. While some people may complain there was not enough Graham flavor like a true S'mores dessert the pistachio base inclusion was genius. While it is not overpowering by any means it sets the tone for how each element goes hand in hand to make an unrefined experience. This was my sleeper of the pack! Caffe Panna Minted PannaCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Minted Panna is labeled as "Panna peppermint ice cream, minty cookie chunks (fudge coated…you know the ones we mean), housemade Oreo ganache" The peppermint base is thick, creamy, and luscious in flavor. If you are a fan of candy cane or peppermint in general this base will be heaven on a stick. The amount of sweetness is just right to satisfy your sweet tooth without it being too overpowering. Being someone who is not a big fan of mint or peppermint in general this was very enjoyable and refreshing. The fudge-coated mint cookies remind me of Thin Mint girl scout cookies. The outer chocolate coating had a slightly bitter flavor due to the density of the chocolate. The mint on the inside is present but not overbearing. It strikes a happy medium for people like myself who are not huge mint fans. The Oreo ganache provides a thick, creamy, and bold silky ribbon that is laced throughout the pint. The cream and chocolate combo of flavors rips through the peppermint ice cream to pair with the fudge-coated cookies. Mint was never my go-to, but when Caffe Panna makes unique flavors it really opens my mind to things outside my comfort zone. Due to the sheer amount of chocolate and mint contrast, it provides a well-balanced pint for those who are not top-tier mint fans. Grade: C+ Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna ABB Coffee BreakCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. ABB Coffee Break is labeled as "Cold steeped coffee bean ice cream, espresso swirl, coffee cake streusel and allies banana bread chunks. Definitely try this one as an Affogato at home." The base of this pint is an espresso lover's dream come true. Cold steeped coffee uses a shorter roasting time to help rid of the bitter flavor coffee can bring to the table. There is also a nice nutty complimenting flavor in the aftertaste that congeals with a sweet cream flavor. Picture yourself getting a cold brew from Starbucks with luscious cream and nutty addition to your beverage. The way Caffe Panna can replicate this into a frozen dessert is miraculous. The espresso swirl is pooling from side to side and is never lacking. The espresso flavor has a more concentrated density compared to the cold steeped coffee base. It does have a slightly bitter aftertaste but that is to be expected for how pure the flavor is. The coffee cake streusel packs a chewy cinnamon-laced mix-in that has a backend of clove. The cake has the correct texture like it is fresh from a bakery and melts in your mouth. Allies Banana Bread is not far off from the coffee cake with a ripe banana flavor and buttery aftertaste. The collab strikes a home run with how the cinnamon and banana flavors congeal together to strike a nice harmony on your tastebuds. This one was a surprise for me. I was curious to see how the base ice cream, coffee cake, espresso swirl, and banana bread would go altogether. If you ask me it's a great way to combine three breakfast staples into one experience. If you are not a big coffee lover this one may not be your first choice from this pack. Grade: B+ Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Living the Cream PB Oreo RemixLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. PB Oreo Remix is labeled as "Oreo Ice cream, Peanut Butter Swirls, Oreo Brittle, and Chewy No Bake Oat Cookies" Oreo ice cream is very tricky because you would have to provide the sweet cream of the sandwich cookie and the wafer into one element. Living The Cream's sweet cream tone is luscious, rich, and packed full of flavor. The base provides a thick and premium density that is right up there with some of the best in the game. Sweet Cream does not contain any eggs or vanilla. It is based on milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cream cheese. Even with the oreo compliment, the wafer cookie aspect takes the backseat. For folks who enjoy oreo milkshakes or an oreo McFlurry from McDonald's take that and enhance the thickness and quality by a large margin. Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. The Oreo brittle is similar to the famous sandwich cookie with an extra hint of crunch on the outside. The extra bite it provides goes perfectly with the premium ice cream in the base. The Chewy No-Bake oat cookies are soft, chewy, and delicious. The oat cookies provide the perfect contrast to the brittle that packs a crunchy texture. Both mesh with the oreo ice cream to give you the best of both worlds with oreo, peanut butter, and rich cookie dough-like flavor. Living The Cream really is starting to nail his consistency and quality control. This is a perfect example to show you how he has improved the texture of his swirls and mix-ins. The gooey and thick swirl meets fresh mix-ins when thrown into a frozen dessert. The way he can continue to change based on his consumer feedback shows he takes a lot of effort into the fine details to create killer flavors. Grade: A- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Ritzy OreoLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Ritzy Oreo is labeled as "Ritz Cracker Ice Cream, Oreo cookie swirls, nutter butter crunch, and Oreo Cookies & Cream Cookie Dough" The Ritz Cracker ice Cream is pure to a ritz cracker. When you think of a Ritz cracker it has a pure toasty flavor, a buttery undertone, and a salty aftertaste. The density of the ice cream Living The Cream provides helps capture each element. For those who like a little extra salt with their ice cream, it does make the base flavor pop a bit a touch more than some of his others. The Oreo cookie swirl provides a heavy sweet cream flavor with a subtle chocolate cookie aftertaste. This is very hard to replicate into a swirl because it is never easy to capture two flavors within one mix-in alone, especially as a swirl. One thing is for certain the number of swirls is pooling from top to bottom with incredible consistency. The nutter buttercrunch is nutter butter cookies with an extra bite to them. The crunchy aspect helps give you the best of both worlds when combined with a chewy mix-in which is the Oreo Cookies & Cream cookie dough. The dough itself is delicious, soft, and flavorful cookie dough chunks. The Oreo aspect helps play hand in hand with the swirl provided to represent America's classic cookie. This one is a bag of mixed tricks that hits your taste buds from so many angles. For those who do not like a massive salty flavor, this one will not be your go-to. I personally like this one, but the base could use more depth. Ritz Cracker ice cream is an unrefined flavor that is going to be very hard to perfect. Living the Cream Reptar, King of The Mix-InsLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Reptar, King of the Mix-ins is labeled as "Vegan Peanut butter ice cream, marshmallow swirls, oreo toffee, half-baked brownies, chocolate chip cookie dough" The vegan peanut butter ice cream is similar to real peanut butter out of a jar. When peanut butter meets high-quality ice cream you taste a high buttermilk fat content. The density is very thick as Living the Cream's bases are right up there like Salt & Straw, Caffe Panna, and Clementines. If I were to nitpick the base I would like a little bit more salt to really get this flavor to pop. Due to the fact this was vegan peanut butter, I did not expect it to taste as rich as a regular peanut butter base. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor that pairs well with the peanut butter base to make a fluffernutter combo. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock hard when frozen in ice cream. The half-baked brownies are reminiscent of undercooked brownies that have an incredibly squishy and gooey center. This is my preference for brownies instead of the crispy outer edges. The chocolate chip cookie dough chunks are soft and provide a chewy mix-in. The cookie dough chunks provide molasses, brown sugar, and a buttery undertone. The Oreo Toffee provides a crunchier version of America's favorite cookie. This one is a bag of tricks all congealed into one pint of ice cream. It is also labeled after one of my favorite bands "The Devil Wears Prada". This is one for the basic B's out there who love high-quality mix-ins that are paired with one of the best peanut butter bases to hit the ice cream market. Living the Cream A Graham AdventureLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. A Graham Adventure is labeled as "Graham Cracker Ice Cream, Girlscouts Adevnturefuls cookies, Salted Caramel swirls, and Half-baked brownies": The ice cream is rich, bold, and packs a subtle cinnamon flavoring in the aftertaste. Graham Cracker ice cream is rare on the ice creak market, but Living The Cream perfected it. Every single portion of the graham cracker was pure. The replica of a real cinnamon graham cracker is spot on. When put into a dense, creamy, and high buttermilk fat base this flavor really shines. This flavor does temper much faster then his other flavors on the market. The adventureful cookies are an indulgent brownie-inspired cookie with caramel-flavored crème and a hint of sea salt, I had these solo and I was not the biggest fan as they don't touch the tag along or Samoa as my favorite girl scout cookies. The half-baked brownies are super dense, chewy, and moist. These are one of LIving The Cream's best mix-ins for how fresh they stay in ice cream. The caramel is salty, sweet, and thick. While it is not as thick as Living the Cream's marshmallow swirl its flavor pairs well with the graham cracker ice cream. This is yet another great pint from Living The Cream. I personally feel the adventureful cookies are a letdown from the girl scout cookie line which hurt the overall grade to my liking. Overall the ice cream, brownies, and swirls are fantastic. Living the Cream Biscoffus Maximus
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Biscoff Maximus is labeled as "Biscoff Ice Cream, Biscoff Crunch, Cinnamon Biscoff Gooey Butter Cake, and Biscoff cookie swirls." The base ice cream is pure gold when it comes to replicating speculoos. My best comparison would be taking Trader Joes Cookie Butter and enhancing the density. The rich and creamy base provides an exotic flavor that smothers your taste buds with hints of gingersnap cookies and spices. The biscoff crunch is similar to balls of no-bake cookies but enhanced with cookie butter. The butter cake is moist, dense, and packed with a luscious aftertaste. The texture of the mix-ins is incredibly soft and provides the perfect chewiness to compliment the thick base. It is amazing how fresh these butter cake pieces can be even when frozen in ice cream. The biscoff cookie swirls are thick from top to bottom. They are on the harder side similar to Living The Cream's peanut butter swirls. I would personally like them a bit softer and gooey, but that may be very hard when folded into ice cream. This is one for the biscoff, gingersnap, and ginger lovers. With so much cookie butter going on in one pint it may become monotonous with one single element shining in such a large portion. I really liked this one, but would be in favor of improving the texture of the swirl. Grade: B+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream That Salt LifeLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. That Salt Life is labeled as "Salted Pretzel ice cream, Thiccc chocolate caramel swirls, Salted PB Fudge, Nutter butter Salted Crack Cookies" The first bite of the pretzel-infused base is spectacular. The base is very smooth, creamy, and has a mild salty flavor to it. There is a small hint of the vanilla-infused base with the dominant pretzel aftertaste. While this is not a flavor you typically see being made in the ice cream industry it leaves the door open for countless possibilities with mix-ins and additions to enhance the saltiness and flavor of an ice cream base. The chocolate caramel swirls are pooling from side to side and top to bottom. The caramel is rich and luscious while the chocolate provides a bold element. The sheer amount of flavor this packs on top of a gooey and runny swirl makes it go hand-in-hand with the premium ice cream. The Nutter Butter Salted Crack Cookies are nutter butter cookies with an enhanced salty cookie crunch addition. The salted PB Fudge is large, chewy, dense, and provides a nice chew to the pint. It goes hand in hand with the crunchy nutter butter cookie inclusion. The contrast of flavors in this pint pairs well. I am a huge fan of the salted pretzel base as salt enhances the flavor of anything you eat. Salty Caramel, pretzel and a ton of peanut butter all congealed together make for one epic experience from Living The Cream. Grade: A Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Black & BlueberryLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Black & Blueberry is labeled as "Oreo ice cream, Blueberry swirls, Oreo Toffee, and Blueberry Poptarts" Oreo ice cream is very tricky because you would have to provide the sweet cream of the sandwich cookie and the wafer into one element. The blueberry swirls are pure, rich, and thick in texture. It does provide a nice gooey complement to the dense oreo ice cream. The blueberry pop tarts are great. I love frozen pop tarts and prefer the fruity-filled ones as it makes the flavor shine. The oreo toffee is like taking a true oreo and crusting it with an added crunch and texture. The only downside was the oreos did get soggy in this ice cream which was a letdown. This is not a flavor that blew me away. Maybe because I am not the largest fan of fruity inclusions nor am I the largest fruit fan. The one thing I will say is the execution of the fruity swirl is impeccable. This is a great change of pace pint that I was pleased with when I scooped it, but the oreo quality control needs to be much better. Grade: C Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Sonny's Cuckoo PB BreakfastLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Sonny's Cuckoo PB Breakfast is labeled as "Cocoa Puffs Cereal ice cream, PB Swirls, Nutter butter salted crack cookies, PB Oreos" The Cocoa Puffs Cereal ice cream base is very similar to what you would experience from an elite chocolate ice cream, but with a luscious aftertaste. The base is creamy, dense, and provides an elegant rich flavor. The cereal milk backend flavor on top of a strong chocolate initial taste really pairs well like you are drinking the milk of cocoa puffs. Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. The peanut butter Oreos are the classic sandwich cookie with a mellow peanut butter filling. Both go hand in hand with the swirls, mix-ins, and base. The Nutter Butter Salted Crack Cookies are nutter butter cookies with an enhanced salty cookie crunch addition. I like this flavor, but the base needs a bit more density to truly make it shine. The cereal milk addition mellows out the richness of the chocolate. I have no issues with any of the mix-ins, but I can see where he was going with this flavor. I personally prefer dense and dark chocolate as this is too light for my liking. Grade: B+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Buckeye PieLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Buckeye Pie is labeled as "Graham Cracker Ice Cream, Chocolate caramel swirls, Buckeye Bars, and Nutter Butter Toffee" The ice cream is rich, bold, and packs a subtle cinnamon flavoring in the aftertaste. The chocolate caramel swirls are pooling from side to side and top to bottom. The caramel is rich and luscious while the chocolate provides a bold element. The sheer amount of flavor this packs on top of a gooey and runny swirl makes it go hand-in-hand with the premium ice cream. The buckeye bar chunks give you hybrid peanut butter and chocolate combo that is fantastic. The bars are chewy, moist, rich, and pack a luscious salty peanut butter flavor to create a true buckeye experience in each bite. The Nutter Butter Toffee is nutter butter cookies with an enhanced crunch. Anyone who has never visited the buckeye state or had a buckeye is truly missing out. Living the cream was able to capture the Buckeye to a T because the middle should have a graham cracker element with the peanut butter filling. He hit all notes and even threw in extra caramel to make this one superb. Grade: A- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Caffe Panna Brandon's NightmareCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Brandon's Nightmare is labeled as "Chocolate ice cream, oreo birttle, mini M&M's, dark fudge. A ghost of Christmas Eve past. The chocolate base is a classic chocolate flavor but has an additional element to make it pop. The base is creamy, dense, and has a sweet but balanced elegant rich flavor. If you are one to chase an outstanding chocolate flavor this base is just that. While it is nothing over the top it is executed to a T. The oreo brittle stays buttery and sugary throughout the experience. Each bite of brittle was delicious and had the perfect texture. The mini M&M's are classic candy that provides an extra crunchy texture. They don't offer a ton of flavor to the pint, but they are scattered all over the place from top to bottom. The fudge is similar to the brownies offered in Panna Style Therapy but with a buttery enhancement. The texture is super soft and melts in your mouth upon each bite. I respect how Caffe Panna took a lot of classic elements from some of her other offerings and threw them all together. Whoever Brandon is at Caffe Panna sure is a basic guy at heart who has a similar taste preference as myself. The only thing that could take this pint to the top is a unique swirl that slivers throughout the pint. Grade: B+ Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Panna Style TherapyCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Panna Style Therapy is labeled as "Milk chocolate ice cream with a hint of salt, homemade brownie batter swirl, brownie chunks, & Callebaut chocolate chunks The milk chocolate base is very similar to Jersey Jam, Chocolate Toffee Pistachio, and Chocolate^5. A basic chocolate flavor, but has an additional element to make it pop. The base is creamy, dense, and has a sweet but balanced elegant rich flavor. If you are one to chase a very unique chocolate flavor this base is just that. While it is nothing over the top it is executed to a T. The brownie batter swirl is thick, and pools from side to side. The density of the brownie batter texture and flavor enhance the incredible base. The brownies are reminiscent of undercooked brownies that have an incredibly squishy and gooey center. This is my preference for brownies instead of the crispy outer edges. The extra Caliebaut chocolate chunks provide a thick crunchy texture that play off the soft chewy brownies. If you are a chocoholic this is the ice cream for you. This is similar to Chocolate^5 with added chocolate mix-ins and swirls. For some, this may be overkill, but I enjoyed every single bite. Caffe Panna Full Court PretzCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Full Court Pretz is labeled as "Raspberry & Panna ice cream, Amanao Chocolate raspberry rose coated mini pretzels, Salty sweet punchy perfect." The raspberry ice cream is rich, ripe, and bold in flavor. Hallie from Caffe Panna uses fresh raspberries and purees them into her Caffe Panna signature base. The best part is there is no ice, which is very present in fruity flavors. How she can get such a pure element in her base with the added fruit is immaculate. The Amano chocolate shards are a staple in the Caffe Panna ice cream lineup. The chocolate has a bitter and rich enhancement to the base that is scattered into pieces among the pint. While coating chocolate-covered pretzels these really shine. The added salt from the pretzels enhances the coating. The extra pop of salt gives this the correct sweet and salty combination. This may be a very basic flavor on paper, but this one was executed very well. The Amano chocolate is fantastic and when paired with the extra salt from the pretzels amplifies the entire pint. Anyone looking for a classic pint with a single mix-in will find this one enjoyable. Grade: C+ Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Peaconut PieCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Peaconut Pie is labeled as "Brown sugar vanilla bean ice cream loaded with gooey BirdsBlack Peaconut Pie chunks, toffee-coated peanuts, and soft dark chocolate shards. The brown butter base is unique and the perfect complement to a pecan pie mix-in pint. The richness of the butter is paired with a toasted flavor that has a nutty bite to it. Due to having such a high buttermilk fat, the ice cream balance of pie and brown butter is dead-on delicious. The vanilla bean provides the perfect complement to a pie brown butter and pie-based flavor like you would scoop ice cream right on the pie. The collab with BirdsBlack Peaconut Pie chunks is spot on. I am not a huge pecan pie guy but this is money. Rich, buttery, nutty, and has the perfect texture when frozen in ice cream. The pie chunks are melt in your mouth like a fresh pie from a bakery. The Toffee coated peanuts provide a nice crunch that pairs with the soft pie chunks included from top to bottom in this offering. The soft dark chocolate shards are scattered pieces of chocolate that help enhance the pecan pie offering. Overall I am not the biggest fan of nuts in ice cream but the base and mix-ins really are spot on. With that said if you are a pecan pie fan at heart, this one will be a home run out of the park. Caffee Panna sure knows how to execute and collab with fantastic companies. Grade: A- Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York
