Living the Cream PB Oreo MaxLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. PB Oreo Max is labeled as "Oreo ice cream with PB Oreos, PB Swirls, and PB Oreo Gooey Butter Cake". Oreo ice cream is very tricky because you would have to provide the sweet cream of the sandwich cookie and the wafer into one element. Living The Cream's sweet cream tone is luscious, rich, and packed full of flavor. The base provides a thick and premium density that is right up there with some of the best in the game. Sweet Cream does not contain any eggs or vanilla. It is based on milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cream cheese. Even with the Oreo compliment, the wafer cookie aspect takes the backseat. For folks who enjoy Oreo milkshakes or an Oreo McFlurry from McDonald's take that and enhance the thickness and quality by a large margin. The peanut butter Oreo pairs with the Oreo base. the filling of the Oreo and the milk chocolate cookie give this the classic one-two chocolate peanut butter punch. Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. If I were to nitpick the swirl I would like it a touch runnier and gooier. The peanut butter Oreo gooey butter cake is moist, dense, and packed with a luscious aftertaste. The texture of the mix-ins is incredibly soft and provides the perfect chewiness to compliment the thick base. How you can still get the creaminess of the filling of an Oreo with the mixture of peanut butter is incredible. This one is an experience. The Oreo base is great. It isn't as dense as some of the other offerings of the Living The Cream line, but when it tempers it gives that perfect Oreo flavor. Combine the peanut butter Oreos, butter cake, and swirls and this sucker is loaded. For anyone who loves their cake and peanut butter Oreos', well you get both in one dessert, and it's awesome. Living the Cream Simply PB (Fudge Version)Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Simply PB (Fudge Version) is labeled as "Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream with PB Fudge and PB Swirls." Living The Cream has a dense thickness in his ice cream, even without using eggs. Madagascar Vanilla Bean is a unique flavor. Vanilla bean is used in flavoring most desserts, including ice cream, custard, cake, candy, and pudding. I also find it as one of my favorite coffee creamer flavors. The richness and purity of this base are phenomenal. Simple yet executed to a high standard. Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. If I were to nitpick the swirl I would like it a touch runnier and gooier. The soft peanut butter fudge chunks are large, chewy, and dense, These cubed pieces of fudge go hand in hand with the base and mix-ins provided in this ice cream. The peanut butter is just as rich as the vegan peanut butter ice cream Living The Cream makes meaning they are to die for. While this is a simple flavor on paper it thrives off execution. If there is one thing it doesn't take a whole lot to make great ice cream since the quality control from Living The Cream is always top-notch. Grade: B- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream August Burns Red VelvetLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. August Burns Red Velvet is labeled as "Red velvet cake batter ice cream, cream cheese frosting swirls, red velvet brownies with white chocolate chips." For those who do not know, Red velvet cake usually surfaces as a buttermilk cake with a lot of red food coloring in it to give it its distinctive color. The cake usually contains a touch of cocoa powder. Then the cake is layered with a cream cheese frosting. The red velvet base does taste exactly as you would expect. Very creamy, rich, and a dense consistency which Living The Cream brings to this dessert experience. The cream cheese swirl provides the tangy element you would find plastering the top layer of a red velvet cake. The thickness of the swirl is amplified the further you dig down the pint. The thickness and richness of the swirl truly shine throughout this experience. The red velvet brownies with white chocolate chips are an unrefined mix in that works well. Livin The Cream undercooks his brownies so they stay soft, gooey, and have the proper texture when mixed into ice cream. The white chocolate chips help bring out the sweetness of the cream cheese swirl to compliment the pint as a whole. August Burns Red lights it on the stage, and Living The Cream brings the heat in the kitchen. The collaborative flavor with the band not only is a hit, but it is a unique scoop since there are not a lot of red velvet based flavors on the market. The only nitpick I have is a bit more cocoa in the base to really bring out the true red velvet flavor to compliment the mix-ins and swirl. Grade: B+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream PB&J TimeLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. PB&J Time is labeled as "Vegan peanut butter ice cream, strawberry swirls, brown sugar graham cracker crumble, and peanut butter oatmeal cookie dough." The vegan peanut butter ice cream is similar to real peanut butter out of a jar. When peanut butter meets high-quality ice cream you taste a high buttermilk fat content. The density is very thick as Living the Cream's bases are right up there like Salt & Straw, Caffe Panna, and Clementines. If I were to nitpick the base I would like a little bit more salt to really get this flavor to pop. Due to the fact this was vegan peanut butter, I did not expect it to taste as rich as a regular peanut butter base. The PB cookie dough is delicious, soft, and flavorful cookie dough chunks. The peanut butter aspect helps play hand in hand with the base to amplify the overall experience of peanut butter to compliment the strawberry swirls. The strawberry swirls are gooey, thick, luscious, and rich in flavor. Fruit flavors can be a double edge sword and get icy when frozen, but the composure jam swirl is extremely pure. The brown sugar graham cracker crumble is buttery, crunchy, and distributed properly throughout the pint to give this an extra crunch. For those who love PB&J sandwiches and really admire strawberry over grape you are in for a treat. I was always team strawberry so this brought me back to my childhood days but frozen into an ice cream pint. Grade: A Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Cookie Dough StracciatellaLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Cookie Dough Stracciatella is labeled as "Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dough, and Callebaut milk chocolate stracciatella." Living The Cream has a dense thickness in his ice cream, even without using eggs. You get a classic cookie dough from the original cookie inclusion, which tends to give the base a slight upgrade in flavoring. The dough itself is delicious, soft, and flavorful cookie dough chunks that will cover 3/4th of the pint. The Callebaut milk chocolate stracciatella is broken up chocolate shards that are laced throughout the pint. The quality of the chocolate really shines and provides a great compliment to the cookie dough. While this is not an over the top complex flavor the quality of the ice cream and mix-ins shine when in conjunction. The vanilla bean ice cream is spectacular and the mix-ins are plentiful. This is one of those classic flavors you can come back to and never get sick of Grade: B- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream PB PrezzyLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. PB Prezzy is labeled as "Salted Pretzel ice cream, mini chocolate-covered pretzels, PB gooey butter cake chunks, and nutter butter cookie butter swirls." The first bite of the pretzel-infused base is spectacular. The base is very smooth, and creamy, and has a mild salty flavor to it. There is a small hint of the vanilla-infused base with the dominant pretzel aftertaste. While this is not a flavor you typically see being made in the ice cream industry it leaves the door open for countless possibilities with mix-ins and additions to enhance the saltiness and flavor of an ice cream base. The mini chocolate-covered pretzels amplify the salty base, but give you the correct contrast of milk chocolate to help enhance the experience. The peanut butter cake is moist, dense, and packed with a luscious aftertaste. The texture of the mix-ins is incredibly soft and provides the perfect chewiness to compliment the thick base. The nutter butter cookie swirls are similar to LTC's peanut butter swirls, but have the cookie flavor in the backend and a bit of a butter undertone. The unique inclusion really helps bring out the base due to the sheer amount of swirls loaded in this pint. My only gripe is the base ice cream tempers quickly due to the salt addition. The flavor profile and combination of mix-ins are absolutely incredible. Massive swirls, huge chunkage, and quality ice cream. If anyone knows me the extra salt always brings out the flavor of whatever is paired with the experience. Grade: A- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Oreo Graham SlamLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Oreo Graham Slam is labeled as "Graham Cracker ice cream, oreo gooey butter cake chunks, oreo cookies & cream cookie dough, oreo cookie butter swirls." The ice cream is rich, and sweet, and packs a subtle cinnamon flavoring in the aftertaste. Graham Cracker ice cream is rare on the ice creak market, but Living The Cream perfected it. Every single portion of the graham cracker was pure. The replica of a real cinnamon graham cracker is spot on. When put into a dense, creamy, and high buttermilk fat base this flavor really shines. The oreo butter cake is moist, dense, and packed with a luscious aftertaste. The texture of the mix-ins is incredibly soft and provides the perfect chewiness to compliment the thick base. The Oreo Cookies & Cream cookie dough is delicious, soft, and flavorful cookie dough chunks. The Oreo aspect helps play hand in hand with the swirl provided to represent America's classic cookie. The oreo cookie butter swirls reminded me of Trader Joes Oreo Cookie butter. The sheer chocolate and sweet cream frosting aspect is replicated into a thick gooey swirl that pools from side to side. Anyone who enjoys Oreos and graham crackers is going to find this one Imagine your favorite oreo cookie sandwiched between the graham cracker cookie shells. Then turn it into your favorite dessert with a massive upgrade. Grade: B+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Bob's Birthday 3.0Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Bob's Birthday 3.0 is labeled as "Vegan peanut butter ice cream, Reese's PB cup stuffed Half baked brownies, salty caramel swirls, and oreo cookie dough." The vegan peanut butter ice cream is similar to real peanut butter out of a jar. The Reese peanut butter half-baked brownies are reminiscent of undercooked brownies that have an incredibly squishy and gooey center. The addition of Reese and peanut butter takes these brownies to one of Living The Cream's best mix-ins of all time. The peanut butter and chocolate contrast are pinpoint perfect. The oreo cookie dough was really rich and had a strong cookie and cream flavor that pairs well with the peanut butter base. The salty caramel swirls are rich, sweet, and thick. The luscious swirl is laced from top to bottom in almost every single spoonful. When it comes to birthday flavors Living The Cream always hits a homerun. The vegan PB ice cream is the best on the market, and each mix-in was spectacular. There is never a shortchange of mix-ins when the pint is nearly 600g in weight. Living the Cream Threat Level MidnightLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Threat Level Midnight is labeled as "Midnight espresso blended coffee ice cream with chunks of dark chocolate buckeye bars." The base of this pint is a coffee lover's dream come true. The midnight espresso blended coffee ice cream uses a shorter roasting time to help rid of the bitter flavor coffee can bring to the table. There is also a nice nutty complimenting flavor in the aftertaste that congeals with a sweet cream flavor. Picture yourself getting an espresso from Starbucks with luscious cream and nutty addition to your beverage. The buckeye bar chunks give you hybrid peanut butter and chocolate combo that is fantastic. The bars are chewy, moist, rich, and pack a luscious salty peanut butter flavor to create a true buckeye experience in each bite. This is a straight forward base and mix-in ice cream, but both go together extremely well. Coffee, peanut butter, and chocolate all go together and are three of my favorite things. Given that Living The Cream is known for unrefined and loaded pints this one was very enjoyable. Grade: B Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Peanut Butter BuddyLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Peanut Butter Buddy is labeled as "Nutter Butter Cookie ice cream, Callebaut milk chocolate stracciatella, peanut butter Oreos, and chocolate covered mini PB ritz Sandwiches" Nutter Butter cookie ice cream is a dense peanut butter ice cream but has a backend buttery cookie aspect that makes this different from his base PB ice cream. It is not as thick as the vegan peanut butter ice cream, but the overall consistency is premium as you would expect from Living The Cream. The extra hint of sweetness gives this an edge over a standard peanut butter ice cream, and it also helps play hand-in-hand with the inclusions. The peanut butter oreo pairs with the peanut butter base. the filling of the oreo and the milk chocolate cookie give this the classic one-two chocolate peanut butter punch. The chocolate-covered mini PB ritz sandwiches give this flavor an extra kick of slat and then amplify the peanut butter and chocolate contrast. The crunch from the Oreos and ritz crackers meets a soft melt-in-your-mouth stracciatella from the Callebaut milk chocolate. The richly flavored milk chocolate enhances all the chocolate mix-ins. The purity of the chocolate really shines due to the quality. Peanut butter buddy is a classic example of a peanut butter and chocolate combination you just can't get enough of. Similar to your best friend growing up who you would visit every single day. The way both flavors complement each other throughout this experience is why it is so hard to stop digging into this flavor once you take your first bite. Living the Cream Killer CakeLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Killer Cake is labeled as "Chocolate cake batter ice cream, salted caramel swirls, half-baked brownies, and chocolate chip cookie dough." The chocolate cake batter ice cream is bold and rich in flavor. There is a milk chocolate element that brings a strong aspect that surpasses what you would find in a normal chocolate ice cream. The density of the cocoa in this flavor gives no bitter aftertaste. Living The Cream did a great job masking any dullness associated with a high cocoa content. I always prefer milk chocolate due to the sweetness and luscious aspect of it, but this one was done really well and packs a sweet aftertaste due to the cake batter. The half-baked brownies are reminiscent of undercooked brownies that have an incredibly squishy and gooey center. This is my preference for brownies instead of the crispy outer edges. The dough itself is delicious, soft, and flavorful cookie dough chunks that will cover 3/4th of the pint. The chocolate cookie dough was really rich and had a strong flavor that overpowered the regular cookie dough. The caramel swirls are salty, sweet, and thick. While it is not as thick as Living the Cream's marshmallow or peanut butter swirls its flavor pairs well with the chocolate cake batter ice cream. While the cake batter isn't over the top in flavor it provides the luscious sweetness to really make it pop. The half baked brownies are a Living The Cream staple, and the cookie dough and caramel are home runs. I would like the base to provide a bit more flavor. His brownie batter base to me provides the density of a true chocolate base, just like his dark chocolate base has that extra bitterness of a high quality chocolate. All in all a great flavor. Caffe Panna Ghost of Christmas Past Caffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Ghost of Christmas Past is labeled as "Chocolate ice cream, Reese pieces, peanut butter swirl, and oreo brittle." The chocolate base is a classic chocolate flavor but has an additional element to make it pop. The base is creamy, dense, and has a sweet but balanced elegant rich flavor. If you are one to chase an outstanding chocolate flavor this base is just that. While it is nothing over the top it is executed to a T. The oreo brittle stays buttery and sugary throughout the experience. Each bite of brittle was delicious and had the perfect texture. The Reese's pieces are typical candy that enhances the peanut butter and chocolate elements found in the ice cream and peanut butter swirl. Caffe Panna is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. This is a fantastic pint for those Basic B's out there who love mix-ins and thrive off a chocolate and peanut butter mixture. Granted the chocolate base is nothing over the top, but when it's in conjunction with everything together in this experience this is fantastic. Grade: A Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Speculoos Peanut Butter Swirl Caffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Speculoos Peanut Butter Swirl is labeled as "Speculoos cookie infused ice cream swirled with peanut butter." The base ice cream is pure gold when it comes to replicating speculoos. My best comparison would be taking Trader Joes Cookie Butter and enhancing the density. The rich and creamy base provides an exotic flavor that smothers your taste buds with hints of gingersnap cookies and spices. Other brands such as Trader Joe's, Steve's, and Ben & Jerry's really missed the mark when it comes to truly replicating that cookie butter flavor. Caffe Panna has nailed this flavor and its top tier. Caffe Panna is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. What I really admire about the swirl is how gooey this is. For many companies, it is hard as a rock, but this has the texture of a caramel swirl that melts right on your spoon. This flavor is very straight forward. A top-tier base and a fantastic swirl. For those who enjoy a very straight forward ice cream flavor with a killer mix-in, this one fits the bill. It's rare to find a company that can replicate a Speculoos base, but Caffe Panna nailed it. Grade: C- Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Java JiveCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Java Jive is labeled as "Salted vanilla bean ice cream with espresso caramel swirl and chocolate coated espresso beans." Caffe Panna has a dense thickness in his ice cream, even without using eggs. Vanilla Bean is a unique flavor. Vanilla bean is used in flavoring most desserts, including ice cream, custard, cake, candy, and pudding. I also find it as one of my favorite coffee creamer flavors. The richness and purity of this base are phenomenal. The extra kick of salt really helps bring out the base flavor in this ice cream. The espresso swirl is pooling from side to side and is never lacking. The espresso flavor has a more concentrated density compared to the cold steeped coffee base. It does have a slightly bitter aftertaste but that is to be expected for how pure the flavor is. The backend of caramel is present, but not over the top. It does really help give you that replica of a caramel latte in ice cream form. The chocolate-covered espresso beans are not a common mix-in for the ice cream game. While I love coffee, the bitterness from the chocolate coating is brilliant. The espresso provides the correct bitter to a sweet ratio like you would expect drinking the beverage. For those coffee heads, this one is fantastic. Since the coffee flavor is overpowering, but its there just enough to compliment the vanilla bean base to make this a happy medium. Since I love coffee and the vanilla bean base is phenomenal this one really hits the spot. Grade: B+ Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna Double DeckerCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Double Decker is labeled as Peanut butter ice cream with a salted caramel swirl, chocolate + peanut butter coated pretzels & red sprinkles. The peanut butter ice cream is exactly like real peanut butter out of a jar, but better. When peanut butter meets high-quality ice cream with such a high buttermilk fat content the sheer amount of flavor truly shines. The density in Caffe Panna's bases is unlike anything on the market which makes them truly stand out. Just this flavor alone could be combined with so many different mix-ins or varieties on their lineup to make absolute dynamite flavors. The chocolate and peanut butter-coated pretzels are top-tier. The extra hint of salt from the pretzels on top of the classic chocolate and peanut butter combo is like taking a Reeses and giving it a pretzel compliment with that extra kick of salt. The pretzels hold their composure well since they are coated and enhance the base peanut butter flavor. The salted caramel swirl laces this flavor with a gooey thickness and luscious sweetness. The density of the caramel swirl helps cut into the density of the peanut butter base and pretzels. The peanut butter and caramel combo is one of those unmatched duos that really shine when paired together. This flavor from top to bottom will easily go down as one of Caffe Panna's best flavors they have made in my eyes. This one is right up there with Pistachio Oatmeal Cookie // Pistachio Explosion. Each element is spot on, and the way each inclusion goes hand in hand with the other is perfect. Not much to be said here but this one is a 10/10 and in the elite category. Caffe Panna Nutty Gingerbread ManCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Nutty Gingerbread Man is labeled as Piedmontese hazelnut & cocoa ice cream with cookie butter ganache, gingerbread cookie dough, and housemade chocolate-coated Biscoff The Piedmontese Hazelnut ice cream is absolutely fantastic. Caffe Panna found a way to take a common nut-based flavor into a frozen dessert. Hazelnut is deeply nutty and has a lingering buttery taste in the backend. The base is creamy, super-premium, and has a sweet but balanced elegant rich flavor due to the purity of the ingredients. The extra hint of cocoa gives the gingerbread a nice compliment to the nuttiness the hazelnut ice cream provides. The cookie butter ganache is like cookie butter from Trader Joe's straight out of the jar swirled throughout the experience. Quality control is not lacking when it comes to swirls from Caffe Panna, and how they can contain such a gooey consistency is remarkable. The gingerbread cookie dough provides a complimenting spice to the base and has that usual dense, chewy, and brown sugar infused. The housemade chocolate-coated biscoff helps enhance all the elements in this ice cream. The amount of spice is balanced out by the chocolate covering. This one is a bag full of tricks that want you to be treated. When Caffe Panna thinks outside the box to make unique and unrefined flavors they always strike gold. The only thing that may allude people away from his is the amount of gingerbread spice contained in all the inclusions and bases. Besides that, I loved every piece of this puzzle, and would gladly put it back together again. Grade: A Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna 2022 Cookie Jar Caffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. 2022 Cookie Jar is labeled as Panna sweet cream studded with salted chocolate chip cookie dough, Funfetti cookie dough, and homemade chocolate sandwich cookie chunks The Panna sweet cream base from Caffe Panna is one of the best on the market. Caffe Panna's sweet cream is luscious, rich, and packed full of flavor and has a premium density that is like no other. Sweet Cream does not contain any eggs or vanilla. It is based on milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cream cheese. Even with a sheer amount of mix-ins, it doesn't phase the quality of the base in each and every bite. When it comes to execution Caffe Panna is on top of its game. The cookie dough chunks are large and in charge. The chocolate chip cookie dough has a buttery undertone with a subtle chocolate and brown sugar element that seeps into your taste buds. The density of cookie dough chunks is chewy, dense, and rich in flavor. The funfetti ones on the other hand are sweet, but that is to be expected. Others claimed they were too sweet, but I feel it was just right to balance the richness of the experience with everything put together. Homemade chocolate sandwich cookies have been featured in many Caffe Panna flavors as housemade oreo cookies. The sweet cream center amplifies the base and the extra chocolate shell compliments the chocolate found in the cookie dough. I personally loved this one, but then again I am a sucker for mix-ins. Some stated the funfetti was too sweet, but the sweetness helps bring contrast to the big picture and balance out the richness of the cookies and cookie dough base. The Panna sweet cream is a signature base ice cream, and this combination is stellar. Grade: B+ Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna SlayrideCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Slayride is labeled as Cream cheese vanilla bean ice cream with Oreo brittle, extra mini dark chocolate chips, and soft red velvet cake globs The cream cheese ice cream took me by surprise. The base is creamy, rich, but has a density to it that flares with flavor. Cream cheese in nature isn't something that packs flavor, but the added sweetness and vanilla bean inclusion really set this one ablaze. I would state this base is sweet and slightly tart, but more sweet than tart. The tanginess of the cream cheese is present, but the last piece to the puzzle is the bean aftertaste from the elegant vanilla duo base. This one reminds me of a vanilla cheesecake base with the depth of the cream cheese. The added Oreo Brittle has a nice bite to complement the dark chocolate chips. The brittle reminds me of crushed-up Oreo cookies with an extra crunchy texture. The mini dark chocolate chips are everywhere and in large abundance. The extra hint of bitter cocoa in each and every bite helps piggyback the chocolate tone from the oreo brittle. The soft red velvet cake globs are massive. Caffe Panna is never shy when putting cake or pie chunks into their ice cream. How Caffe Panna can find a happy medium with consistency and quality control, and the cake stays so fresh is mind-blowing. I am a true Basic B at heart and the red velvet cake chunks stole the show. The hybrid cream cheese and the vanilla base are spectacular and the inclusion of the brittle and chocolate chips leaves this one loaded from top to bottom. For those who love a lot of chuankage in ice cream here is your golden ticket. Grade: A Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York

Caffe Panna JingalingCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Jingaling is labeled as Pretzel infused sweet cream with chocolate buttercream frosting and peanut M&Ms The first bite of the pretzel-infused base is spectacular. The base is very smooth, and creamy, and has a mild salty flavor to it. There is a small hint of the sweet cream-infused base with the dominant pretzel aftertaste. While this is not a flavor you typically see being made in the ice cream industry it leaves the door open for countless possibilities with mix-ins and additions to enhance the saltiness and flavor of an ice cream base. The chocolate buttercream frosting is everywhere. Heck, there is more swirl and frosting than the actual base. The frosting is similar to what you would get on a birthday cake like it was fridged and cooled to give you that extra dense punch of flavor in each and every bite. The chocolate is not over the top, just right, and has a happy balance of cocoa and sweetness. The peanut M&M's staples M&M's. The extra hint of salt from the peanuts helps enhance the flavor as a whole. These mix-ins are also pretty large in size, and yet still incredibly soft like they are right out of the bag. This flavor is spot-on in each and every element. The pretzel base has the correct amount of salt and pretzel flavor that pairs with both elements in this ice cream flavor. Some may argue there needs to be more base as the chocolate frosting was the dominant portion of this base. I won't complain about too much frosting because I am like a fat kid who loves cake. Caffe Panna Cocoa SnickCaffe Panna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions. Cocoa Snick is labeled as Panna & dark cocoa ice cream swirled with marshmallow and studded with snickerdoodle cookie dough The dark cocoa base is a classic chocolate flavor but has an additional element to make it pop. The base is creamy, dense, and has a sweet but balanced elegant rich flavor. If you are one to chase an outstanding chocolate flavor this base is just that. The extra hint of bitterness in the back end just really sets the tone for those who enjoy dark chocolate. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, and luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor that pairs well with the peanut butter base to make a fluffernutter combo. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock-hard when frozen in ice cream. The snickerdoodle cookie dough is chewy, dense, and thick. Caffe Panna always finds a way to make massive chunkage get thrown into their ice cream and have fantastic quality control. The balance of chocolate and cinnamon makes a unique combo that works. Many people may despise the chocolate and cinnamon compliment, but I absolutely love it. It may be an unrefined combination but i have always been a fan. Hallie and Caffe Panna always open my eye to combinations that work, and this entire experience is a perfect example. Grade: A- Found: Caffe Panna New York, New York
