Living the Cream Self Care
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch.
Self Care is labeled as "Oreo ice cream, Marshmallow swirls, Banana bread chonkers, and PB Chocolate Chip cookie dough."
Oreo ice cream is very tricky because you would have to provide the sweet cream of the sandwich cookie and the wafer into one element. Living The Cream's sweet cream tone is luscious, rich, and packed full of flavor. The base provides a thick and premium density that is right up there with some of the best in the game. Sweet Cream does not contain any eggs or vanilla. It is based on milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cream cheese. Even with the oreo compliment, the wafer cookie aspect takes the backseat. For folks who enjoy oreo milkshakes or an oreo McFlurry from McDonald's take that and enhance the thickness and quality by a large margin.
The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor that pairs well with the peanut butter base to make a fluffernutter combo. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock hard when frozen in ice cream. The peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough chunks are soft and provide a chewy mix-in. The cookie dough chunks provide molasses, brown sugar, and a buttery undertone. With a backend of peanut butter flavor, it helps enhance the oreo base. Lastly, the banana bread chonkers are very soft, moist, and chewy inclusions cubed throughout the experience. The buttery undertone shows how well Living the Cream baked these and folded them into his ice cream.
This one is a bag of mixed tricks with cookie dough, banana bread, marshmallow swirls, and oreo ice cream. Banana and Oreo do go together and Caffe Panna proved that point. Living the Cream put the stamp of approval with this one.
