Living the Cream Cookies & ScreamierLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Cookies & Screamier is labeled as "Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream, double stuffed Halloween W O's, Oreo cookie swirls." Living The Cream has a dense thickness in his ice cream, even without using eggs. Madagascar Vanilla Bean has a unique flavor. Vanilla bean is used in flavoring most desserts, including ice cream, custard, cake, candy, and pudding. I also find it as one of my favorite coffee creamer flavors. The richness and purity of this base are phenomenal. Simple yet executed to a high standard. The Halloween W O's are Wegmans knockoff of Oreo's and they provide the same quality flavor of America's favorite cookie. The outer chocolate shell and the rich cookies and cream center pair very well with the fantastic vanilla bean base. The oreo cookie swirls amplify the cookie inclusion to give you the true cookie and cream experience. The swirl is pooling from side to side as there is no shortage of incredible quality control with Living The Cream. Overall this is a very straight forward Cookies & Cream flavor. If you like anything related to Oreo's, chocolate, or cream filling this is one for you. While this one is not over the top, it hits the spot when you are in the mood for a classic dessert. Living the Cream Reese's Brownie
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Reese's Brownie is labeled as "Chocolate ice cream, PB swirls, half baked brownies, and chunks of Reese PB Cups." The chocolate base is a classic chocolate flavor but has an additional element to make it pop. The base is creamy, dense, and has a sweet but balanced elegant rich flavor. If you are one to chase an outstanding chocolate flavor this base is just that. While it is nothing over the top it is executed to a T. Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. If I were to nitpick the swirl I would like it a touch runnier and gooier. The half-baked brownies are reminiscent of undercooked brownies that have an incredibly squishy and gooey center. This is my preference for brownies instead of the crispy outer edges. Lastly the Resse PB Cups are one the best pieces of candy ever made. Toss this into a cluster of peanut butter and chocolate and it just keeps getting better. If you love chocolate and peanut butter, you can't go wrong with this pint. This is a and overload of chocolate and just the right amount of peanut butter from the massive swirls and peanut butter cups. Anyone who loves a Reese's will love this ice cream Grade: A- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Fishing For FudgeLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Fishing For Fudge is labeled as "Chocolate ice cream, marshmallows swirls, salted caramel swirls, and peanut butter fudge chunks." The chocolate base is a classic chocolate flavor but has an additional element to make it pop. The base is creamy, dense, and has a sweet but balanced elegant rich flavor. If you are one to chase an outstanding chocolate flavor this base is just that. While it is nothing over the top it is executed to a T. The salted caramel swirls are blistering through this flavor from top the bottom. The gooey, rich, and thick swirls amplify the base flavor and give you a sticky caramel taste that rips your tastebuds. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick and luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor that pairs well with the chocolate base. The peanut butter fudge chunks are thick, chewy, and have a dense thick peanut butter flavor to them. If you are a fan of Ben & Jerry's Phish Food this is a re-make but with a slight twist. The overall quality of the pint and execution of quality control far surpasses what you would find in a grocery pint. The attention to detail and the quality of the mix-ins and ice cream blow away what you can buy in a store. The peanut butter fudge was a top-tier addition that goes perfectly with chocolate, marshmallow, and caramel. Grade: A- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Heather's DreamLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Heather's Dream is labeled as "Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream, Callebaut dark chocolate stracciatella, salted caramel swirls, and dark chocolate buckeye bars." Living The Cream has a dense thickness in his ice cream, even without using eggs. Madagascar Vanilla Bean is a unique flavor. Vanilla bean is used in flavoring most desserts, including ice cream, custard, cake, candy, and pudding. I also find it as one of my favorite coffee creamer flavors. The richness and purity of this base are phenomenal. Simple yet executed to a high standard. The dark chocolate Callebaut stracciatella is broken-up chocolate shards that are laced throughout the pint. The quality of the chocolate really shines and provides a great compliment with a backend bitterness. The Buckeye bar chunks give you a hybrid peanut butter and chocolate combo that is fantastic. The bars are chewy, moist, and rich, and pack a luscious salty peanut butter flavor to create a true buckeye experience in each bite. The salted caramel swirls are blistering through this flavor from top the bottom. The gooey, rich, and thick swirls amplify the base flavor and give you a sticky caramel taste that rips your tastebuds. This one was a winner from the first all the way to the last bite. How the flavors compare and contrast with the vanilla bean base, the sheer amount of dark chocolate and peanut butter congealed together with a massive pooling swirl is immaculate. Living the Cream hit a home run. Grade: A Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Cake Batter S'moresLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Cake Batter Smores is labeled as "Spice Cake batter ice cream, Callebaut Milk chocolate Stracciatella, brown sugar graham cracker crumble, and marshmallow swirls." The Spiced Cake Batter ice cream is immediately much improved over the basic vanilla ice cream offered by Living The Cream. You get strong luscious vanilla and extra pureness of cake batter in each bite. Think about buttercream frosting folded into vanilla ice cream. It’s really smooth, really tasty, and avoids coming off as too sweet. The spiced aspect provides a multitude and aspect to the ice cream that gives it an extra kick of flavor. While the density and flavor are an upgrade, this cake batter base is one of the finest I have scooped. The Callebaut milk chocolate stracciatella is broken-up chocolate shards that are laced throughout the pint. The quality of the chocolate really shines and provides a great compliment to the spiced cake batter base. The brown sugar graham cracker crumble is buttery, crunchy, and distributed properly throughout the pint to give this an extra crunch. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick and luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor that pairs well with the graham cracker base. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock-hard when frozen in ice cream. The unique spiced cake batter base really shines in this one and pairs extremely well with the marshmallow swirls. I am a huge fan of the stracciatella as the density and flavor of the chocolate truly shine in any base flavor Living the Cream makes. The graham crumble does a fantastic job of adding an extra element to this pint to enhance the overall taste. Grade: B+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Tall, Dark, & SaltedLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Tall, Dark, & Salted is labeled as "Salted Pretzel ice cream, Callebaut Dark Chocolate chip cookie dough, Caramel Swirls & Dark Chocolate Oreos." The first bite of the salted pretzel-infused base is spectacular. The base is very smooth, and creamy, and has a mild salty flavor to it. There is a small hint of the vanilla-infused base with the dominant pretzel aftertaste. While this is not a flavor you typically see being made in the ice cream industry it leaves the door open for countless possibilities with mix-ins and additions to enhance the saltiness and flavor of an ice cream base. The caramel swirls are salty, sweet, and thick. While it is not as thick as Living the Cream's marshmallow or peanut butter swirls its flavor pairs well with the pretzel ice cream. The dark chocolate Oreos are classic sandwich cookies with an extra hint of bitterness from the dark chocolate. Not to mention they hold up extremely well in the ice cream. Lastly, the Callebaut Dark chocolate chip cookie dough is soft, rich, and packed full of flavor and has an extra salty element to enhance the base. This goes hand in hand with the dark chocolate Oreos to enhance the sweet and salty pretzel base with a rich bitter compliment. If you know me I love salt. Salt makes everything taste better and enhances the flavor of the ice cream. I was a big fan of these inclusions and how the runny and gooey caramel swirl laces everything together. This is one of the best pints from the recent haul I got from Living the Cream. Grade: A- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream PB Gooey CakeLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. PB Gooey Cake is labeled as "Cake Batter ice cream, Peanut butter swirls, and PB Gooey Butter Cake Chunks." The Cake Batter ice cream is immediately much improved over the basic vanilla ice cream offered by Living The Cream. You get strong luscious vanilla and extra pureness of cake batter in each bite. Think about buttercream frosting folded into vanilla ice cream. It’s really smooth, really tasty, and avoids coming off as too sweet. While the density and flavor are an upgrade, this cake batter base is one of the finest I have scooped. Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. If I were to nitpick the swirl I would like it a touch runnier and gooier. The peanut butter gooey butter cake is moist, dense, and packed with a luscious aftertaste. The texture of the mix-ins is incredibly soft and provides the perfect chewiness to compliment the thick base. Imagine spooning out peanut butter onto a piece of toast and infusing it into butter cake. That is exactly what you get. This is such a simple flavor on paper but executed to perfection. It goes to show you don't need to get over the top with mix-ins and swirls to make a complete flavor. While this one is very straightforward it highlights some of Living the Cream's best aspects. Living the Cream Monkey See Monkey DoughLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Monkey See Monkey Dough is labeled as "Banana ice cream, PB chocolate chip cookie dough, Oreo cookie swirls, and Chocolate chip cookie dough." The banana base by Living the Cream is spectacular, unlike a normal banana-flavored base. Being a consumer who is not fond of fruity flavors this one was fantastic. When I took my first bite I was in awe of how pure and rich the banana shined. While the banana flavor is very straightforward forward it sets the flavor up to let the mix-ins shine. The Oreo cookie swirls are massive in size, pooling from side to side, and have a very soft and gooey texture. The flavor of the swirl is like a mashed cream and cookie from an Oreo congealed into a liquid. I don't know how Living The Cream Did it but it's awesome. You get classic cookie dough from the original cookie inclusion, which tends to give the base a slight upgrade in flavoring. The dough itself is delicious, soft, and flavorful cookie dough chunks that will cover 3/4th of the pint. The chocolate cookie dough was really rich and had a strong flavor that meshed the regular cookie dough Oreo cookies and cream cookie dough. The addition of the peanut butter cookie dough helps amplify the chocolate and vanilla flavors from the other inclusions and the base. Again I am not a huge fruity guy. But this works. I would never imagine bananas and Oreos going together, but the cookie dough inclusions make this really pop as you get a full cookie vibe. While it is a bit different to my liking I really enjoyed this one as an unrefined flavor in my pallet. Grade: B- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Strawberry FluffernutterLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Strawberry Fluffernutter is labeled as "Strawberry cake batter ice cream, Peanut butter swirls, marshmallow swirls, and Chewy PB-Oat cookie chunks." The Strawberry Cake Batter ice cream is an incredibly rich and luscious offering by Living The Cream. You get strong luscious vanilla and extra pureness of cake batter in each bite. Think about buttercream frosting folded into vanilla ice cream. It’s really smooth, really tasty, and avoids coming off as too sweet. The strawberry is present but not overbearing. It gives you the proper richness from fresh strawberries churned into a dense cake batter like frosting ice cream to make it a delicious ad and unique taste. While the density and flavor are an upgrade, this cake batter base is one of the finest I have scooped. The richness and ripeness of the strawberry cake batter are present from the very first bite. The ripe base provides a sweet flavoring that remains mild and mellow as the ice cream tempers. Fruity flavors are very hard to execute but Living the Cream did a good job, but have room for improvement. The cake batter provides the right amount of sweetness in the backend to elevate the strawberry flavor and make the flavors complement each other. Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. The marshmallow swirl is no joke either. Extremely creamy, light, fluffy, and blistering your taste buds with a dense marshmallow flavor. Lastly, The chewy PB Oat cookie chunks are a firm and dense mix-in, but give this flavor the right balance it needs. The soft, light, and rich base and marshmallow swirl meet a thick peanut butter swirl and mix-in. While I am not the biggest fruit fan the peanut butter, marshmallow, and cookies make up this one and really give it a nice touch. Grade: B+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Black Forest BrownieLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Black Forest Brownie is labeled as " Chocolate cake batter ice camera, Cherry jam swirls, Callebaut Dark Chocolate Stracciatella, and half-baked brownies." The chocolate cake batter ice cream is bold and rich in flavor. There is a milk chocolate element that brings a strong aspect that surpasses what you would find in a normal chocolate ice cream. The density of the cocoa in this flavor gives no bitter aftertaste. Living The Cream did a great job masking any dullness associated with a high cocoa content. I always prefer milk chocolate due to the sweetness and luscious aspect of it, but this one was done really well and packs a sweet aftertaste due to the cake batter. The cherry jam swirls are very unique. This is the first time I had this swirl from Living the Cream and it delivered. The cherry was extremely dense, tart, and had a nice zing of flavor. Normally fruity flavors can get very icy in ice cream, but this one holds its composure. The dark chocolate Callebaut stracciatella is broken-up chocolate shards that are laced throughout the pint. The quality of the chocolate really shines and provides a great compliment with a backend bitterness. The half-baked brownies are reminiscent of undercooked brownies that have an incredibly squishy and gooey center. This is my preference for brownies instead of the crispy outer edges. I am usually not one for fruit flavors when it comes to swirls, but this combination is the perfect replica of a black forest cake. While it may not be my first choice when it comes to cake when you mix it into ice cream it just tastes that much better. If I were to nitpick I would like a bit more flavor in the base. The mix-ins were fantastic on this one! Grade: B- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Chocolate Animal PartyLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Chocolate Party Animal is labeled as " Cake batter ice cream, rainbow sprinkles, chocolate frosting swirls, and chocolate-covered animal crackers." The Cake Batter ice cream is immediately much improved over the basic vanilla ice cream offered by Living The Cream. The sprinkles in the ice cream are just there for looks. They give an extra crunch but don't offer a lot when it comes to taste. The chocolate frosting swirls are like fresh buttercream icing that you find on a birthday cake. The swirl is super thick, and light in texture, but packs a punch when it comes to flavor. The rich and dense chocolate pairs perfectly with the chocolate-covered animal crackers. The crackers are massive in size and consistent from top to bottom. I like how since they are coated they hold their texture and composure a hell of a lot better than a regular cracker which would get soggy. I am a huge fan of the cake batter ice cream from Living the Cream and the mix-ins for this flavor work extremely well. While the sprinkles don't bring a whole lot to the big picture the swirl and animal crackers mesh super well with the base. If you have a sweet tooth and are a big fan of eating like a little kid like myself. This one is a must Grade: B Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream PB Cookie Blizzard
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. PB Cookie Blizzard is labeled as "Vegan PB ice cream, Chocolate-dipped nutter butters, Girl Scout tagalong cookies, and brownie batter swirls." The vegan peanut butter ice cream is similar to real peanut butter out of a jar. When peanut butter meets high-quality ice cream you taste a high buttermilk fat content. The density is very thick as Living the Cream's bases are right up there like Salt & Straw, Caffe Panna, and Clementines. If I were to nitpick the base I would like a little bit more salt to really get this flavor to pop. Due to the fact this was vegan peanut butter, I did not expect it to taste as rich as a regular peanut butter base. The chocolate-dipped nutter butters provide the buttery undertone from the cookie with the dense and creamy peanut butter filling. Combine this with the immaculate vegan peanut butter base and it is a combination that works in unison. The chocolate coating pairs with the girl scout tagalong cookies which are known to be a hybrid chocolate peanut butter girl scout cookie. When you continue to put more wood on the fire the flame keeps getting larger and the flavor continues to amplify as each mix-in goes hand in hand with the base. The brownie batter swirls are extremely thick, gooey, and luscious in flavor. The swirl itself is bold and rich in flavor. There is a dark chocolate element that brings a strong aspect that surpasses what you would find in a normal brownie batter flavor. This flavor is fantastic from top to bottom. The best peanut butter ice cream on the market meets two peanut butter-based cookies and a massive brownie batter swirl to give you the classic chocolate peanut butter combination. The overall quality control and taste of every piece of this ice cream were spot on. Easily one of the best flavors ever made from Living The Cream to date. The Buckeye bars are a peanut butter and chocolate match made in heaven. The thick bars have a melt-in-your-mouth texture and deliver the perfect salt compliment to drive home a perfect peanut butter chocolate mix-in. The Oreo cookie swirls are massive in size, pooling from side to side, and have a very soft and gooey texture. The flavor of the swirl is like a mashed cream and cookie from an Oreo congealed into a liquid. I don't know how Living The Cream Did it but it's awesome. Lastly, the PB Oreo Gooey Butter Cake is very soft, moist, and chewy but contains the Oreo and peanut butter flavors that mix extremely well together like a PB Oreo. Oreos, pretzels, Buckeyes, Chocolate, Peanut Butter. All the things that basic B's like myself (Basic Bob) truly love congealed into a pint. With a touch more salt this would help the flavors pop, but overall a fantastic offering. Grade: A Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Vanilla bean is used in flavoring most desserts, including ice cream, custard, cake, candy, and pudding. I also find it as one of my favorite coffee creamer flavors. The richness and purity of this base are phenomenal. Simple yet executed to a high standard. The Callebaut milk chocolate stracciatella is broken-up chocolate shards that are laced throughout the pint. The quality of the chocolate really shines and provides a great compliment to the cookie dough. The soft fudge chunks are large, chewy, and dense, These cubed pieces of fudge go hand in hand with the base and mix-ins provided in this ice cream. The fudge stripe cookies are classic cookies you can get in the grocery store. These are broken up and halved throughout the experience. Luckily the chocolate coating on them, it prevents them from being stale and gives a nice crunchy texture to the big picture. I am a huge fan of the vanilla bases Living The Cream makes, and they simply work. The extra salt in the base makes the inclusions pop. With three chocolate-based inclusions that all intertwine together in this pint, each gives a buttery and chocolate aspect that continue to amplify each and every bite throughout this experience. This pint was loaded and is a mix-in junkies' paradise. Grade: B Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

The quality of the chocolate really shines and provides a great compliment to the cookie dough. The red velvet gooey butter cake goes hand in hand with the swirl. The butter cake is very soft, moist, and chewy. Let alone the butter undertone of the cake shows how fresh this is being homemade from the Living The Cream kitchen. The red velvet cake batter swirls are massive. The red velvet captures the chocolate flavoring with a hint of cocoa in the backend. Even with the red food coloring playing a major part here how dense this chocolate is really helps sliver through the vanilla bean base to make it pair well with the stracciatella. ABR is not only a great band, but when Living The Cream is replicating one of metal's best artists he does not disappoint. A superb vanilla base, huge swirls, and massive mix-ins that have incredible flavor make this one a notch above the previous ABR v1.0 flavor. This is a must scoop! Bananagrahams is labeled as "Graham cracker ice cream, brown sugar graham crumble, caramel swirls, and chocolate chip banana bread chunks". The ice cream is rich, and sweet, and packs a subtle cinnamon flavoring in the aftertaste. Graham Cracker ice cream is rare on the ice creak market, but Living The Cream perfected it. Every single portion of the graham cracker was pure. The replica of a real cinnamon graham cracker is spot on. When put into a dense, creamy, and high buttermilk fat base this flavor really shines. The brown sugar graham cracker crumble is buttery, crunchy, and distributed properly throughout the pint to give this an extra crunch. The caramel swirls are salty, sweet, and thick. While it is not as thick as Living the Cream's marshmallow or peanut butter swirls its flavor pairs well with the graham cracker ice cream. The chocolate chip banana bread chunks are extremely soft, moist, and chewy. The chocolate chips melt in your mouth while the bread stays incredibly fresh even frozen in the ice cream. The size of the mix-ins is not shy and loaded from top to bottom. While I am not the biggest banana bread fan this pint works. Graham crackers, banana bread, chocolate, caramel, and brown sugar are all elements that intertwine with each other. This is really a unique pint that is a little out of my refined preference, but each and every bite just kept getting better and better. Grade: B+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

The half-baked brownies are reminiscent of undercooked brownies that have an incredibly squishy and gooey center. This is my preference for brownies instead of the crispy outer edges. Both inclusions pair extremely well together to piece together a true brookie. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick and luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor that pairs well with the graham cracker base. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock-hard when frozen in ice cream. S'mores ice cream does not see a lot of graham crackers for the base. Usually chocolate or marshmallows with the inclusions replicating the full picture of a S'more. I personally enjoy a graham base like Graeter's did to let the chocolate and marshmallow shine since the graham is the foundation of a S'more. With massive swirls and thick brownies this one is a great combination. Grade: B Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream PB Caramel Cup
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. PB Caramel Cup is labeled as "Chocolate Ice Cream with PB Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, caramel swirls, and buckeye bars". The chocolate ice cream is bold and rich in flavor. There is a milk chocolate element that brings a strong aspect that surpasses what you would find in a normal chocolate ice cream. The density of the cocoa in this flavor gives no bitter aftertaste. Living The Cream did a great job masking any dullness associated with a high cocoa content. I always prefer milk chocolate due to the sweetness and luscious aspect of it, but this one was done really well and packs a sweet aftertaste even for straightforward chocolate. The caramel is salty, sweet, and thick. While it is not as thick as some of the other Living the Cream's swirls its flavor pairs well with the chocolate ice cream. The density and thickness of the swirl have a great texture that melts in your mouth as you bite into it in ice cream. Let alone it's sticking to the top of the pint container when you pull it off the container. The dough itself is delicious, soft, and flavorful cookie dough chunks that will cover 3/4th of the pint. The addition of the peanut butter cookie dough helps amplify the chocolate and vanilla flavors from the other inclusions and the base The buckeye bars are a peanut butter and chocolate match made in heaven. The thick bars have a melt-in-your-mouth texture and deliver the perfect salt compliment to drive home a perfect peanut butter chocolate mix-in. This one from top to bottom is awesome. The cookie dough, buckeye bars, thick swirls, and immaculate chocolate base pair well. There isn't much to nitpick here besides more flavor density in the chocolate base and a touch more salt in the mix-ins. All in all a fantastic pint. Living the Cream Leftover MashLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Leftover Mash is labeled as "Brown sugar ice cream, Raspberry crumb bars, PB-Oatmeal cookie dough, and marshmallow swirls". The brown sugar graham ice cream is a unique hybrid of multiple flavors. The brown sugar graham element in this just works. The ice cream is rich, bold, and packs a subtle cinnamon flavoring in the aftertaste. The brown sugar is a dominating fore front flavor with the cinnamon that trickles in the back end to round out the ice cream base. It is very well down and has subtle graham cracker elements to it as well. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, and luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor that pairs well with the graham cracker base. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock-hard when frozen in ice cream. The PB-Oatmeal Cookie dough is soft, chewy, and dense in peanut butter flavor. The extra hint of salt really helps amplify the flavor of the inclusion. The raspberry crumb bars are also superb. While these are just as soft as the cookie dough the raspberry filling is luscious and rich in flavor. Usually fruity flavors can get lost when frozen in ice cream and become artificial but this is not the case. How the mix-in is covered allows for the true potential of the flavor to shine. This pint is a unique mix of flavors and inclusions that work extremely well together for being "leftover" and "mashed" together. The base, swirls, and mix-ins find a happy medium that congeal to provide a great combination of characteristics that work in unison. While this was a sleeper pint it did pique my interest the deeper I got into it. Grade: B Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York
