Living the Cream Irish Earthquake
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Irish Earthquake is labeled as "Hot cocoa ice cream, thick chocolate caramel swirls, and Bailey's chocolate chip gooey butter cake." Hot Cocoa is a first time experience from Living The Cream. At first I was a bit hesitant whether the chocolate or marshmallow flavor would overpower each other, but they do not. The initial hint of cocoa soon meets a sweet and luscious marshmallow flavor that go hand in hand. While neither dominates each other's presence it gives you a true happy medium for common ground with this base. The Chocolate caramel swirls are unique. I would say this is much heavier in chocolate than caramel. The bitter, rich, and thick swirls are pooling from side to side. I would like to see a bit more salt to make the caramel stand out with the duo swirl. The Bailey's chocolate chip butter cake is moist, dense, and packed with a luscious aftertaste. The texture of the mix-ins is incredibly soft and provides the perfect chewiness to compliment the thick base. The hint of Bailey's is not my preference as I am not a drinker, but it gives this mix-in a unique extra kick of flavor. This flavor is one of the most unique experiences I ever had from LTC. I am not a drinker and the unrefined hot cocoa base threw me for a loop. While the base was amazing as was the swirl and butter cake, the hint of booze is not my cup of tea. A great combination nonetheless. Grade: B- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Leftover Gooey Butter Cake Mash
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Leftover Butter Cake Mash is labeled as "Chocolate oreo ice cream, PB gooey butter cake, marshmallow swirls, and banana gooey butter cake." Oreo ice cream is very tricky because you would have to provide the sweet cream of the sandwich cookie and the wafer into one element. Living The Cream's sweet cream tone is luscious, rich, and packed full of flavor. The base provides a thick and premium density that is right up there with some of the best in the game. Sweet Cream does not contain any eggs or vanilla. It is based on milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cream cheese. Even with the Oreo compliment, the wafer cookie aspect takes the backseat. The kicker is the subtle amount of chocolate in this which enhances the ratio off his OG oreo ice cream base. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock hard when frozen in ice cream. The peanut butter & marshmallow gooey butter cake is moist, dense, and packed with a luscious aftertaste. The texture of the mix-ins is incredibly soft and provides the perfect chewiness to compliment the thick base. Imagine a PB & Banana sandwich infused into a cake that has an underlying baked good buttery richness. That is exactly what these mix-ins give you. Buttercake fans beward. This one is stacked on top of a very unrefined base. The marshmallow swirls are like the glue that holds all the pieces to the puzzle together. Grade: B Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Brownie Buckeye Blizzard
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Brownie Buckeye Blizzard is labeled as "Brownie batter ice cream, PB swirls, callebaut milk chocolate stracciatella, and buckeye bars." The brownie batter ice cream is bold and rich in flavor. There is a dark chocolate element that brings a strong aspect that surpasses what you would find in a normal grocery pint. The density of the cocoa in this flavor gives no bitter aftertaste. Living The Cream did a great job masking any dullness associated with a high cocoa content. I always prefer milk chocolate due to the sweetness and luscious aspect of it, but this one was done really well and packs a punch. Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. If I were to nitpick the swirl I would like it a touch runnier and gooier. The Buckeye bar chunks give you a hybrid peanut butter and chocolate combo that is fantastic. The bars are chewy, moist, and rich, and pack a luscious salty peanut butter flavor to create a true buckeye experience in each bite. Lastly the milk chocolate stracciatella is a thick shard of chocolate scattered throughout the ice cream. Not only does this amplify the brownie batter base, but helps bring up the buckeye bar chocolate density provided in this flavor. Chocolate lovers beware. This one packs a punch. The brownie ratio is in heavier favor over peanut butter, but that is similar to what you would get out of a Reese, which I assume, is what the game plan was from Living The Cream. All in all a well done flavor by the Chocolate PB Fans out there. Grade: A Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Wild PB&J Fluffernutter
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Wild PB&J Fluffernutter is labeled as "Vegan PB ice cream, marshmallow swirls, mixed berry PB&J Bars, and wild berry poptarts." The vegan peanut butter ice cream is similar to real peanut butter out of a jar. When peanut butter meets high-quality ice cream you taste a high buttermilk fat content. The density is very thick as Living the Cream's bases are right up there like Salt & Straw, Caffe Panna, and Clementines. If I were to nitpick the base I would like a little bit more salt to really get this flavor to pop. Due to the fact this was vegan peanut butter, I did not expect it to taste as rich as a regular peanut butter base. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock hard when frozen in ice cream. The berry poptarts a soft addition that give a fruity burst of flavor. The real star of the show is the PB&J bars that are thick, soft, chewy, and moist. They melt in your mouth but have just enough peanut butter and jelly to make the childhood sandwich into a baked good. PB&J fans will love this one. The Vegan PB base is the best base from LTC. The marshmallow swirl is like making a PB&J + Fluff sandwich which is a top tier idea. Grade: A+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Big DogLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Big Dog is labeled as "White chocolate ice cream, callebaut milk chocolate stracciatella, PB ooey gooey butter cake, nutter butter cookies." The white chocolate ice cream is bold and rich in flavor. The white chocolate brings a strong aspect that surpasses what you would find in a normal grocery pint. The density of the vanilla in this flavor gives a rich luscious aftertaste. Living The Cream did a great job masking any dullness associated with a base flavor truly shine. Many make a white chocolate flavor like bland vanilla. This has the extra oomph of flavor to help the mix-ins shine. The Callebaut milk chocolate stracciatella is broken-up chocolate shards that are laced throughout the pint. The quality of the chocolate really shines and provides a great compliment to the white chocolate base. The PB gooey butter cake is moist, dense, and packed with a luscious aftertaste. The texture of the mix-ins is incredibly soft and provides the perfect chewiness to white chocolate base. Lastly the nutter butter cookies are a staple addition for crunch and peanut butter. The peanut butter helps balance the chocolate additions in this ice cream with a fantastic base. White chocolate, peanut butter, and chocolate are awesome. The gooey butter cake gives you a soft addition with the crunchy nutter butters give you the best of both worlds. White chocolate is a love-hate thing, but I am a fan. When you put this in conjunction it plays the right tune. Grade: B+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Reese S'moresLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Reese S'mores is labeled as "Graham cracker ice cream, marshmallow swirls, brown sugar graham cracker crumble, and Reese PB cups." The ice cream is rich, bold, and packs a subtle cinnamon flavoring in the aftertaste. Graham Cracker ice cream is rare on the ice cream market, but Living The Cream perfected it. Every single portion of the graham cracker was pure. The replica of a real cinnamon graham cracker is spot on. When put into a dense, creamy, and high buttermilk fat base this flavor really shines. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock hard when frozen in ice cream. The brown sugar graham crumble is filtered throughout the ice cream with an underlying buttery sugary addition. It provides a subtle burnt flavor that amplifies the graham cracker addition. Lastly the Reese PB Cups are the GOAT candy. putting that in any ice cream automatically makes it better. LTC's Graham ice cream is not used enough, but easily one of his best when it comes to flavor density. The marshmallow swirls, graham, and peanut butter cups are like sitting over a campfire making your favorite smores and then infused into a frozen dessert. Living the Cream Brookie Remix 2.0Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Brookie Remix 2.0 is labeled as "Chips ahoy cookie ice cream, brownie batter swirls, double stuf oreos, and half baked brownies." The chips ahoy ice cream is spot on to the cookie you would buy in the grocery store. Living The Cream must have soaked cookies in milk for a day and then churned this into a perfect replica. The buttery undertone of the cookie is met with the brown sugar and chocolate notes found in the cookie. If I were to knock this just a touch I would like a bit more salt to help the flavor pop. The brownie batter swirls are pooling from side to side. They have a dense fudge ripple that streams from top to bottom. The amount of flavor they bring compliment the half baked brownies included in the ice cream. Since the brownies are so soft and moist they are a perfect chewy addition to the swirl. Lastly, double stuf oreos are a classic sandwich cookie that gives you the best of both worlds with the base and sheer amount of chocolate in the ice cream. Whenever LTC upgrades an OG flavor he does a fantastic job. More cookies, more flavor, and a better outcome. For a trademark flavor this one is a classic. Living the Cream Biscoff, Pumpkin & UggsLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Biscoff, Pumpkin & Uggs is labeled as "Biscoff cookie ice cream, callebaut dark chocolate stracciatella, chewy pumpkin chocolate chip blondies, and pumpkin yogurt pretzels." The base ice cream is pure gold when it comes to replicating speculoos. My best comparison would be taking Trader Joe's Cookie Butter and enhancing the density. The rich and creamy base provides an exotic flavor that smothers your taste buds with hints of gingersnap cookies and spices. The chewy pumpkin chocolate chip blondies have a dense pumpkin base and a super soft hybrid brownie texture that provides a great compliment to the crunchy yogurt pretzels. The pretzels are salty and have a pumpkin glaze that is light in flavor, but packs a ginger and clove spice. The dark chocolate stracciatella is a broken-up chocolate shard that is laced throughout the pint. The bitterness of the dark chocolate goes well with the biscoff base ice cream and blondies. Overall this flavor is a burst of flavors and a huge array of mix-ins. You get a soft blondie, decadent chocolate, and luscious yogurt pretzels. The combo of all the mix-ins are a great pint for those who just want to feast on mix-ins. Since the biscoff base packs such a large punch of flavor it sits in the background as the additions do the talking. Grade: B Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Big Biscoff Style is labeled as "Biscoff cookie ice cream, marshmallow swirls, soft nutella fudge chunks, and chocolate-covered biscoff toffee." The base ice cream is pure gold when it comes to replicating speculoos. My best comparison would be taking Trader Joe's Cookie Butter and enhancing the density. The rich and creamy base provides an exotic flavor that smothers your taste buds with hints of gingersnap cookies and spices. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock hard when frozen in ice cream. The soft nutella fudge chunks are large, chewy, and dense, These cubed pieces of fudge go hand in hand with the base and mix-ins provided in this ice cream. The nutella is just as rich as the classic fudge chunks that had a decadent and luscious flavor to them. These are huge cubes that are super soft, even frozen into ice cream. The chocolate covered biscoff toffee is a bit rough in texture but gives this ice cream a dense and thick mix-in that pairs with the base. The biscoff and chocolate hybrid flavor is fantastic. Throwing in the marshmallow swirl gives the chocolate addition a nice boost of flavor. The thick and gooey swirls go well the soft and hard mix-ins. Biscoff is a great base for many mix-ins and compliments, so this flavor is awesome. Grade: B+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Biscoff Banana Bomb is labeled as "Biscoff cookie ice cream, banana gooey butter cake, salted caramel swirls, and banana bread poptarts". The base ice cream is pure gold when it comes to replicating speculoos. My best comparison would be taking Trader Joe's Cookie Butter and enhancing the density. The rich and creamy base provides an exotic flavor that smothers your taste buds with hints of gingersnap cookies and spices. The salted caramel swirls are blistering through this flavor from top to bottom. The gooey, rich, and thick swirls amplify the base flavor and give you a sticky caramel taste that rips your tastebuds. The banana bread poptarts provide a chewy element that has an underlying buttery and banana flavor to go hand in hand with the buttercake. If you ever had butter cake from LTC you know the quality and texture is spot on. Super rich, chewy, moist, and packs a punch. One of his best mix-ins next to the buckeye bars in my opinion. Banana is not usually one of my go-to flavors for anything, but the way it compliments the biscoff base and the caramel swirls is fantastic. The banana is not overpowering but just enough to show the density when its paired with everything in the big picture. Overall a good flavor, but that is because I am not the biggest banana fan. Living the Cream Christmas CheesecakeLiving the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Christmas Cheesecake is labeled as "Gingerbread cookie ice cream, salted caramel swirls, and jingle cookie cheesecake." Gingerbread ice cream is a very unique base. LTC (Living The Cream) uses a magnificent, wintry blend of warm spice and sweet sugar on this flavor. What’s amazing is how full-bodied the ginger is throughout the base. With each bite ginger, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon are sweetened with sugar molasses on the backend. This is nailed. The salted caramel swirls are blistering through this flavor from top to bottom. The gooey, rich, and thick swirls amplify the base flavor and give you a sticky caramel taste that rips your tastebuds. The jingle cookie cheesecake is soft, chewy, and has a great cookie complement to the outer layer. How this stays so fresh submerged in ice cream is impeccable. There is a bit of salt that seeps through to your taste buds that amplifies the flavor of the mix-in. This is a very unique and diverse flavor that is unrefined from LTC. Not only is the gingerbread base immaculate, but the way he folded cheesecake into the base with a dense caramel swirl really sets this flavor off. Even though this has a sole mix-in and swirl it really is one his finest to date. Grade: A Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Bean Me Up Scotchie is labeled as "Vanilla bean ice cream, salted caramel swirls, chewy butterscotch blondies, and butterscotch graham cracker crumble." Living The Cream has a dense thickness in his ice cream, even without using eggs. Vanilla Bean has a unique flavor. Vanilla bean is used in flavoring most desserts, including ice cream, custard, cake, candy, and pudding. I also find it as one of my favorite coffee creamer flavors. The richness and purity of this base are phenomenal. Simple yet executed to a high standard. The salted caramel swirls are blistering through this flavor from top the bottom. The gooey, rich, and thick swirls amplify the base flavor and give you a sticky caramel taste that rips your tastebuds. The chewy butterscotch blondies has a luscious caramel base flavor to them and a super soft hybrid brownie texture that provides a great compliment to the crunchy cookies. The butterscotch graham cracker crumble is consistent from top to bottom and adds an extra crunch to amplify the experience. You have to be a bit of a butterscotch fan to like this one. The way the butter scotch has a very solid caramel vibe hits just right with the caramel swirl and vanilla bean ice cream. This flavor flowed extremely well from top to bottom, and it was very hard to stop yourself once you dug into the first bite. Grade: A- Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

The texture of the mix-ins is incredibly soft and provides the perfect chewiness to compliment the thick base This is a very straight forward flavor but each aspect really goes hand in hand to make it work. All of the chocolate helps enhance what you get in the cookie and the butter cake is the extra icing on the cake to amplify the base ice cream. Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. Oatmeal Cream Pie is labeled as "Brown sugar cinnamon ice cream, chewy oatmeal cookie bar chunks, marshmallow buttercream frosting swirls, and oatmeal cookie dough." The brown sugar cinnamon ice cream is a unique hybrid of multiple flavors. The cinnamon element in this just works. The ice cream is rich, bold, and packs a subtle cinnamon flavoring in the aftertaste. The brown sugar is a dominating forefront flavor with the cinnamon that trickles in the back end to round out the ice cream base. It is very well down and has subtle graham cracker elements to it. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick and luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor that pairs well with the brown sugar cinnamon ice cream. The chewy cookie bar chunks and oatmeal cookie dough are like hybrid no bake cookies. The crispy out edges and chewy soft center is fantastic in both the cookie bar chunks and cookie dough provided in the ice cream. If you were to deconstruct a Little Debbie's Oatmeal Cream Pie into ice cream, this is what you would get, but only as an upgrade. The brown sugar cinnamon ice cream hits the sandwich cookie spot on and the mix of marshmallow swirls and the oatmeal inclusions helps replicate the cream filling of one of my childhood favorite desserts. This one is one of my favorites that Living The Cream has ever done. Grade: A Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Killer Cake is labeled as "Chocolate cake batter ice cream, half baked brownies, salted caramel swirls, and chocolate chip cookie dough." The chocolate cake batter ice cream is bold and rich in flavor. There is a milk chocolate element that brings a strong aspect that surpasses what you would find in a normal chocolate ice cream. The density of the cocoa in this flavor gives no bitter aftertaste. Living The Cream did a great job masking any dullness associated with a high cocoa content. I always prefer milk chocolate due to the sweetness and luscious aspect of it, but this one was done really well and packs a sweet aftertaste due to the cake batter. You get a classic cookie dough from the original cookie inclusion, which tends to give the base a slight upgrade in flavoring. The dough itself is delicious, soft, and flavorful cookie dough chunks that will cover 3/4th of the pint. The salted caramel swirls are blistering through this flavor from top the bottom. The gooey, rich, and thick swirls amplify the base flavor and give you a sticky caramel taste that rips your tastebuds. The half-baked brownies are reminiscent of undercooked brownies that have an incredibly squishy and gooey center. This is my preference for brownies instead of the crispy outer edges. The chocolate cake batter ice cream is a nice upgrade over the chocolate ice cream flavor provided by Living the Cream. His caramel swirls are among his best, and the classic mix-ins of cookie dough and brownies are trademarks in his brookie flavor. If you are a fan of brookie, you need to give this one a go because it is only an upgrade. Grade: B Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York

Living the Cream Mother Fudger
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Mother Fudger is labeled as "Malt ice cream, Fudgy brownie batter swirl, soft fudge chunks, and soft PB fudge chunks." The malt ice cream is a hybrid luscious vanilla base with a bold twist. The malt is not overpowering but present. The best way to describe the base is a mix of the original sweet vanilla and vanilla malt combination. The dual vanilla aspect makes this one different and unique compared to what other companies offer on the market. The peanut butter fudge chunks are large, chewy, and dense, These cubed pieces of fudge go hand in hand with the base and mix-ins provided in this ice cream. The peanut butter is just as rich as the classic fudge chunks that had a decadent and luscious flavor to them. Both are huge cubes that are super soft, even frozen into ice cream. The fudgy brownie batter swirl is like licking the bowl before baking brownies. The brownie batter gave it a slightly rich, chocolatey taste that really enhances the overall experience. The swirl finished with an extra kick of chocolate that pushed the cocoa notes. The fudge inclusions are fantastic, and the malt base is superb. What really makes this pint complete is the brownie batter swirl that mixes together a phenomenal ice cream and top-tier mix-ins. I really liked this pint. For fudge lovers this is a must.
