Living the Cream Tagalong Twister
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch.
Tagalong Twister is labeled as "Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream, callebaut milk chocolate stracciatella, PB Swirls, and girl scout tagalong cookies".
Living The Cream has a dense thickness in his ice cream, even without using eggs. Madagascar Vanilla Bean has a unique flavor. Vanilla bean is used in flavoring most desserts, including ice cream, custard, cake, candy, and pudding. I also find it as one of my favorite coffee creamer flavors. The richness and purity of this base are phenomenal. Simple yet executed to a high standard.
Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. If I were to nitpick the swirl I would like it a touch runnier and gooier. The milk chocolate stracciatella is a thick shard of chocolate scattered throughout the ice cream. The girl scout tagalongs are a fantastic choice to help enhance the peanut butter and chocolate from the two mix-ins. Due to the vanilla base these mix-ins can really shine in their true element.
The right choice was the vanilla base which is superb. Due to this the chocolate and peanut butter inclusions can really shine. This is basically a reese's bomb inside of a top tier vanilla ice cream. Then you add in the girl scout cookies which elevates it to another level.
