Living the Cream Wildman's Mix
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch.
Wildman's Mix is labeled as "Chocolate graham cracker ice cream, marshmallow swirls, PB-oat no Bake cookies, and half-baked brownies".
The chocolate graham cracker ice cream is similar to a milk chocolate Hershey bar infused with a graham cracker. This provides a twist of cinnamon and graham on the backend. This is not something you see every day but makes for a very good combination. Cinnamon and chocolate do go hand in hand together, but the ratios have to be correct. Living the Cream has dominant chocolate with a subtle amount of cinnamon graham cracker to make it pop. Very well executed here in my opinion.
The half baked brownies are fantastic. Super soft, moist, and rich in flavor. They are undercooked so they slide right into the frozen ice cream and hold their composure perfectly. The PB-oat no bake cookies are very soft, buttery, and have a nice chewy compliment to the half baked brownies. These things on their own are lethal and you can put down handfuls in the blink of an eye. Lastly the marshmallow swirl is thick, rich, and very soft. Just popping the lid you can stretch the swirl a few inches like if you pulled a cheese stick apart.
The unique base in this one really sets the tone for the experience. The marshmallow swirls and quality control of the mix-ins are fantastic. There isn't a bad element in this pint and it makes for a fantastic combination.
