Living the Cream Gowanus Grahamma
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch.
Gowanus Grahamma is labeled as "Graham cracker ice cream with salted orange chocolate caramel swirls, with salted crack cookies and half-baked dark chocolate brownies."
The ice cream is rich, bold, and packs a subtle cinnamon flavoring in the aftertaste. Graham Cracker ice cream is rare on the ice creak market, but Living The Cream perfected it. Every single portion of the graham cracker was pure. The replica of a real cinnamon graham cracker is spot on. When put into a dense, creamy, and high buttermilk fat base this flavor really shines.
The salted crack cookies provide a saltiness combined with the graham base gives you a decadent mixture. The brownies are very soft and similar to the Greyston Bakery ones found in Ben & Jerry pints. The brownies have a great chewy texture and packed a ton of flavor. The chocolate caramel swirls are incredibly unique. The orange extract was a mere aftertaste to the amount of chocolate and luscious caramel pooling from top to bottom.
Overall Living The Cream did an Ample Hills knockoff of It Came From Gowanus by using a spin-off of Bad Grahammar and paying tribute to The Brooklyn/Gowanus shop by saying Grahammar with a Brooklyn Accent. In fact, the base of this pint alone gives it a quality start and the mix-ins make it one of his all-time best. Swirls, consistency, mix-ins, and every attribute play hand in hand to make this one hard to put down.
