Living the Cream PB III 3.0
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch.
PB III 3.0 is labeled as "Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, peanut butter swirls, peanut butter chocolate gooey butter cake, and nutter butters."
Living The Cream has a dense thickness in his ice cream, even without using eggs. Vanilla Bean is a unique flavor. Vanilla bean is used in flavoring most desserts, including ice cream, custard, cake, candy, and pudding. I also find it as one of my favorite coffee creamer flavors. The richness and purity of this base are phenomenal.
Nutter Butters are classic peanut butter-filled cookies. The outer shell provides a nice crunch and a dense, creamy, and smooth peanut butter center. This plays right in hand with the large peanut butter swirl. Living the Cream is not shy when it comes to pooling swirls from side to side and top to bottom. His peanut butter swirl is thick in nature with the right amount of salt in the aftertaste. The peanut butter chocolate cookie dough chunks are soft, chewy, and provide a decadent mix-in. The chocolate and peanut butter provide the basic combination with a decadent gooey butter cake.
PB III 3.0 is solid. Peanut Butter lovers will have a field day with this one. The mix-in to ice cream ratio could show a larger balance to strike a happy medium between both. I personally would like a touch more salt in the cookie dough for it to really shine in this experience.
