Little G's Fluffer Cookie
Little G's Fluffer Cookie is labeled as "Peanut butter ice cream with marshmallow swirl and chocolate sandwich cookie pieces". this pint just off the description has almost all of my favorite elements combined into one ice cream. Hints from reviews say the marshmallow swirl has a "toasted" flavor to it which sounds unique. Lets see just how good this truly is!
From first bite this struck back moments of Puppy Chow with the peanut butter base. The flavoring is not as strong as eating peanut butter out of a jar, but congeals the creaminess and flavor of peanut butter very well. The only small factor that may be missing is a salty aftertaste found in true peanut butter. Grace may have been going with a bold peanut butter when formulating this base, and with that said she did a good job. I personally enjoy her Peanut Butter base and hope to see it in more pints in the future.
If you have read my previous reviews I am a huge fan of the chocolate sandwich cookie pieces. The cookies are dense, have a fantastic crunchy consistency to them, and provide a sweet cream filling. The amount of cookies in this pint were so large that I hit a brick wall of them on the one side of my pint. I almost thought it was four oreo's stuck together because I had to break it up with my spoon. The marshmallow swirl packed a toasted aftertaste to it. Right away you are presented with a very sweet marshmallow flavor that is enhanced with a toasted aftertaste to it. This was really unique, and nothing like I have ever had before. For some reason it actually paired well with the chocolate sandwich cookies. Take the sweet marshmallow swirl that was over 50% of my pint and combine the sweet cream filling and sweet tooth fans will rejoice.
From top to bottom this pint was absolutely my favorite of the spring flavors. I am a fan of the PB Base, and it was just as good as I had it before in Puppy Chow. Since I love the stuffed cookies (and cream filled things like donuts, cakes, and cannoli's) found in her previous pints these are just absolutely delicious. The marshmallow swirl was larger then the amount of ice cream I had in this pint. The added twist with the toasted aftertaste really set this pint off. If you like peanut butter and stuffed cookies you need this in your life ASAP!
