Little G's Ice Cream Cowboy Cookie
Little G's Ice Cream Cowboy Cookie is labeled as "Brown butter brown sugar ice cream, oatmeal cookie dough, peanut butter swirl, toasted coconut, and mini chocolate chips"
Brown Butter Sugar ice cream. Say that again, because this flavor is fire. Not only is the brown butter true to its name the amount of richness the base offers is incredible. The sugar is such a small part of how bold the true flavor of the base is. It gives it the extra luscious kick to really make this her best base. After a few bites of the surface I was engulfed the rest of the way with globs of peanut butter in the swirl. The base was then overpowered by the sheer amount of cookies making this pint a whirl of lovely flavors that duplicate a cowboy cooking to a T.
That peanut butter swirl? Loaded. Absolutely loaded. This reminded me of eating Haagen Dazs Peanut Butter Pie with chunks of peanut butter right out of a jar. The peanut butter is exactly like scooping it right from a jar. The creaminess is on point and the slight salty aftertaste pairs with the brown butter base to form a one two knockout punch. While the coconut is present its very faint. The chocolate chips are loaded from top to bottom just like in Go Bananas. The cookie dough pieces in this pint far surpasses what I experienced in that peanut butter brownie dough as I had chunks thicker then the size of my spoon. Not only do you get tons of cookie dough, lots of chocolate chips, but you get a swirl that resembles half a jar of peanut butter.
I must of got a very lucky pint of cowboy cookie because this was filled just like my Peanut Butter Pretzel experience. Lots of peanut butter swirl, plethora of cookie dough, mounds of chocolate chips, and a coconut aftertaste. The base, the mix-ins, and the execution on this flavor were flawless. Hands down my best flavor off the night at the movies pack. MattieMudBlood had a great idea and Grace nailed it. This is a top 3 flavor off her entire line for myself.
