Living the Cream Wild PB&J Fluffernutter
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch. Wild PB&J Fluffernutter is labeled as "Vegan PB ice cream, marshmallow swirls, mixed berry PB&J Bars, and wild berry poptarts." The vegan peanut butter ice cream is similar to real peanut butter out of a jar. When peanut butter meets high-quality ice cream you taste a high buttermilk fat content. The density is very thick as Living the Cream's bases are right up there like Salt & Straw, Caffe Panna, and Clementines. If I were to nitpick the base I would like a little bit more salt to really get this flavor to pop. Due to the fact this was vegan peanut butter, I did not expect it to taste as rich as a regular peanut butter base. The marshmallow swirls are extremely thick, luscious, and have a blistering rich flavor. It was a smart move to do marshmallows as a swirl because mini marshmallows can become rock hard when frozen in ice cream. The berry poptarts a soft addition that give a fruity burst of flavor. The real star of the show is the PB&J bars that are thick, soft, chewy, and moist. They melt in your mouth but have just enough peanut butter and jelly to make the childhood sandwich into a baked good. PB&J fans will love this one. The Vegan PB base is the best base from LTC. The marshmallow swirl is like making a PB&J + Fluff sandwich which is a top tier idea. Grade: A+ Found: Living the Cream Buffalo, New York
