Living the Cream Chocolate for Breakfast
Living the Cream is a small business out of Buffalo. The guy is churning up some masterpieces out of his own kitchen. I luckily found him off Instagram due to his love of eating America's finest ice cream. His homemade ice cream has a lot of praise due to the fact he makes everything from scratch.
Chocolate for Breakfast is labeled as "Nesquick ice cream, cocoa pebbles crack, chocolate caramel swirls, fudge brownie poptarts."
The nesquick ice cream is similar to a milk chocolate Hershey bar, but with a twist of swiss chocolate on the backend. The duo of flavors amplifies the dense and premium base to give the flavor extra flair to your taste buds. While this isn't a chocolate-liked the OG Jeni's, and far superior then the bottom of the road Ben & Jerry's it is very enjoyable.
The cocoa pebbles crack is softer than peanut brittle in thickness but laced with a sugary sweetness that captures the cereal. Think of this like shards of cereal plastered together with a crunchy bite. It holds up well in the ice cream but has a strong texture to it that may be a little too tough for the average consumer. The chocolate caramel swirls are pooling from side to side and top to bottom. The caramel is rich and luscious while the chocolate provides a bold element. The sheer amount of flavor this packs on top of a gooey and runny swirl make it go hand-in-hand with the premium ice cream. The fudge brownie pop-tarts help give this pint an extra chewy chocolate element, but they are one of my least favorite pot tarts.
If you were a fan of chocolate therapy from Ben & Jerry's you will absolutely love this pint. You have to be a true "Chocoholic" at heart or else this can become overbearing with the base, swirl, and inclusions. Since I am a sucker for a good basic ice cream loaded with mix-ins I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
