Little G's Slutty MdoughW
Little G's Slutty MdoughW is labeled as "vanilla bean ice cream with chocolate chunk brownie mdoughw pieces and chocolate sandwich cookies." First of all I am a huge sucker for the sandwich cookies as I claim this Little G's best mix in. Now with the addition of brownie mdoughw cookies this has potential to be fantastic. Being a cookies and cream head this seems to be right up my alley.
The vanilla bean base has been improved. Grace took and added plant stabilizers from her previous flavors to increase the density and prevent freezer burn. With that said the flavor is stronger, and has a bolder kick in the aftertaste to the vanilla bean taste. What is really reminded me of was a vanilla bean coffee creamer but with a denser flavor to it. I have to admire the fact that Little G takes consumer feedback and continues to improve her flavors and basic bases.
The Sandwich cookies as I have wrote about are the highlight of the pint. Every flavor she includes them in you get around 4-5 whole oreo cookies worth. They are chunked up into huge portions and have a fantastic crunch to the outside with a sweet cream filling. They are absolutely delicious, and a reason why I claim them my favorite. If you like anything cookies and cream you will notice she uses them in quite a select flavors due to consumer feedback. The only downside in this pint was the MdoughW pieces. I got a total of 2 of them throughout the entire pint. It seems to be a trend that people did get shortchanged on the amount of those cookies in some pints, but you win some you lose some. The MdoughW pieces were very moist, soft, and chewy. The brownie portion was similar to her homemade brownies (which are bomb), but it also had the cookie filling. These suckers were big the two pieces I got almost the size of an inch in diameter.
Overall the consistency of the MdoughW pieces seem to be the missing link in these flavors, and with that said its hard to give it a proper grade because of the lack therefore of them. While the sandwich cookie pieces are stellar, and the base has been improved on the past flavors those are the main highlights I can point out. Overall good for a cookie and cream freak like myself.
