Caffe Panna CB Snick
CaffePanna's goal is to bring that same welcoming spirit and all-day accessibility to the heart of New York City, with an emphasis on delicious ice cream that marries elements of both Italian and American traditions.
CB Snick is labeled as "We infuse coffee beans into our sweet cream resulting in a beautiful white bright coffee flavor. Then we layer in crunch coated snickerdoodle cookie dough because it’s fall, plus a spice cookie swirl."
The base of this pint is an espresso lover's dream come true. White Coffee uses a shorter roasting time to help rid of the bitter flavor coffee can bring to the table. There is also a nice nutty complimenting flavor in the aftertaste that congeals with a sweet cream flavor. Picture yourself getting a cold brew from Starbucks with a luscious and nutty addition to your beverage. The way Caffe Panna can replicate this into a frozen dessert is miraculous.
The snickerdoodle crunch coated dough was one of those things you wish never ended. The thick chunks of dough are soft, chewy, and moist. The kicker is the texture of cinnamon snickerdoodle coating that blasts your taste buds with sweet cinnamon sugar. The one-two combo of the swirl and mix-ins magnify the luscious backend flavor. The spice cookie swirl reminded me of pure cookie butter from Trader Joes. The gingersnap flavor contains a molasses and brown sugar hybrid that is picture perfect. The consistency is everywhere in this pint, and turns into pools from side to side.
For those who are not massive coffee fans you may think this is average, and truly enjoy the mix-ins. For someone like myself who loves coffee this one was a masterpiece. The base may not be for everyone, but this was my favorite of the pack when all things were paired together with top-tier quality control
