I have never ordered icecream online, i was wondering if some of you could share your experiences?
How is the price after tax? is shipping included in the price? have you always been satisfied?
Any good websites to order from?
Its something ive wanted to try for a while, i just dont know where to start.

Ordering ice cream online is going to be expensive, so don't be surprised by extremely high shipping prices. The need for overnight shipping and dry ice (hazardous material according to most shipping companies) makes the price skyrocket. Although I haven't ordered anything, I've received probably 10+ shipments from companies and they've all arrived frozen solid and in A+ condition when they reached my front door. They usually pack a few pounds of dry ice in a Styrofoam cooler, put in your pints and then fill the rest with newspaper or paper bags. Then they set that cooler down in another cardboard box. Graeter's is the only company I've seen not do this...they just send a thick Styrofoam cooler with the Graeter's logo printed on it. Ice Cream Source has a wide selection of flavors from different companies (but mediocre in general). If I were going to order ice cream, I'd go with one brand like Jeni's, Graeter's or Steve's so you'll at least be satisfied with the ice cream your spending all that money on. Hope this helps!
