Back when I first started the site, I had a section dedicated to comments from readers where they could leave recommendations for flavors I should review.
So anyone have anything you think I should pick up that I haven't already?
Here's a link to all the flavors I've covered: www.theicecreaminformant.com/p/reviews-by-brand.html

I recently ran across Roba Dolce Ocean Spray Hazelnut Truffle Gelato (long name) at my local Ingles. I have picked it up a couple of times and its good stuff. I have no idea what the combination has to do with Ocean Spray, but if you can find it, give it a try.

I had the Dark Chocolate with Cherry Craisins one from Ingles and saw the Hazelnut Truffle, but decided against it. I may have to pick it up soon.

Ice cream shops usually carry pre-packaged items in a freezer. Maybe reviews of a couple of those would be worth doing.

I've noticed some Cold Stone Creamery and Marble Slab Creamery locations also offer hand packed pints, so I may start covering those as well as some of their Signature Creations soon.

They offer four flavors that I have seen, they come in quarts and are like $10 each.

I've never had Steve's Banana Pudding, but I recently ran across a store about 20 minutes away that has it in stock. I'm a banana pudding ice cream fan, so I'll be picking this one up soon for sure.

Alright, legitimate suggestions here. I've recently tried some of the Tea-rriffic flavors and have decided that the best are the chai tea and the chamomile. I just had the chamomile tonight. Left it until last thinking it would be the most meh, and it turns out I have enjoyed it the most! Thanks for the info! I see these in stores pretty frequently. The first time, I couldn't resist the Chunky London Mist, which is Earl Grey tea with dark chocolate chunks (and actually, I haven't seen that one since). It was pretty good, but it didn't leave me dying to try the rest. Based on what you've said, though, I'll definitely get the chamomile next I see it.

I literally hunt out supermarkets and market chains just to check their frozen foods section in case they carry unfamiliar ice cream brands.

I usually do the same thing, but I feel I need to start checking out some of the other small-scale supermarkets and specialty markets around my area. I've also been turned on to checking gas stations...I've found four 2nd St. Creamery flavors there I haven't seen in any supermarkets in my area.

Tea-rriffic was found in one. Last year I found Three Twins and Chozen in a Jewish supermarket, though Three Twins is much more prevalent now.

I was at a Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins combo today and after I get my coffee I like to scan the ice cream selections. There was a flavor of the month called "OREO nutty salted Caramel". Sounds good and different, huh? I thought so. I had a sample taste and it was enjoyable. I plan to get a pint next time I am there. On a different note, I was at Fresh Market to scope out Jeni's Splendid and Steve's ice creams which I had never seen before. They had half gallons of Talenti! I didn't know they existed. Only two flavors though - Tahitian Vanilla and Salted Caramel. They were like $11 each and were in the same clear plastic container with a brown lid only a larger version.

I have also seen quarts of Belgian Chocolate (Whole Foods) and Caramel Cookie Crunch (Metropolitan Market). Lowest price so far has been $9.99.

Steve is VERY VERY GOOD Sunday Morning (heard is awesome) The Cinnamon Coffee is solid and the cayenne one is something to try.
