Coldstone Pumpkin Ice Cream
Every Fall Coldstone gets in Seasonal Pumpkin and Marshmallow Ice Cream. if you have not ventured to your coldstone I highly suggest you do because both of these are top notch. While A lot of people stray from coldstone because they do not have one, or because they may fear their prices are a bit higher than buying a pint at the store. What is great at Coldstone is you get what you want. Sample the flavors and then toss together whatever mix-ins and make exactly what you may desire!
I had the pleasure last year of getting Coldstone pumpkin and when I heard it was back I rushed right back to get some! Their creation usually comes with Graham Cracker pie Crust, Caramel and Whipped Topping but i skimped on the whipped topping for Brownies and boy did they sure deliver. The lady basically filled a quart in a pint and tried to fit the lid on it, and as you can see she did not do a good job of doing so, but i was not going to complain with the amount she gave me for the 6$ price of the pint, not to mention the amount of mix-ins were crazy!
Upon first bite the pumpkin is unreal. This is hands down one of the best pumpkins out there to have, the only one i rank above this is Handel's which is denser in flavor and has a stronger spice element to the base. Coldstone has a great blend of nutmeg, cinnamon and the perfect amount of pumpkin that makes each element compliment each other which is why I give it such high praise. From the first bite to last bite it will leave a great aftertaste in your mouth making you want to dig in for more. They did a great job with this seasonal flavor this is why I am not hesitant to rush back to coldstone every fall to get more.
Overall if you are a pumpkin fan this is a must there is no question. The creations are great because you can mix and match what you want to throw in there. The graham cracker pie crust is small but adds a great texture and after taste to the pint, the caramel is very dense and thick and provides a great swirl like feature like you would find in many pints that you buy in the stores. Lastly the Brownies were overwhelming in size and in taste which added a good flavor to the final product. I could of opted for the whipped cream, but that is a little basic. Others would have threw in some kind of almonds or nuts to compliment the pumpkin, but others can throw in whatever they do like. In the end it is whatever you enjoy and why coldstone is nice because you customize it to your liking. Pumpkin Fan's get to coldstone for how dense this flavor is, and how much cinnamon/nutmeg and spice you can taste in each bite it will be well worth your visit.
