Ha, I hear ya! I had the Slow Churned version, I don't know what they did to it but the coconut was whacked or something. Usually I love coconut but this was way too much. Don't be turned off all German Chocolate flavors by Edy's, that's the only one that's ever struck me that way. Talenti's was all right, only thing they should have done was include actual cake! ok good stuff! might give talenti german choc cake a shot after all then.

I was also disappointed that there weren't any cake pieces in the Talenti! German chocolate cake isn't usually my thing, but I tried it anyway because I was enticed by the idea of cake chunks or at least crumbs. It was ok, but definitely not a flavor I'd consider buying again.

Simply, if it is Talenti and it has anything remotely caramel in it (a swirl or a base) then it is money.

I had (stupidly) avoided Talenti before I found ICI. Thanks to your review, I started with the sea salt caramel, not a flavor I'd pick on my own. It was stunning. Since then I've been on a mission to try all of Talenti's flavors, and they clearly own the caramel game. When I first saw the banana chocolate swirl, I thought the caramel seemed extraneous. But then I tasted it and realized they really should just put caramel in everything.
