That's disappointing. I would have high hopes for it too.

This is one of my absolute favorites. I am a true chocoholic and ice creamaholic and this one, as well as Ben and Jerry's S'mores and Chocolate Therapy satisfy both those addictions.

This seems to have disappeared? Anyone still able to buy this Talenti flavor?

I have yet to see the Candy Bar Pie?! Anyone find it in the stores? Not surprised about the Graeters flavor. The stores near me don't seem to have too many Graeters flavors.

I just saw Talenti Peppermint Bark at a Publix. No Old World Eggnog though. I liked Peppermint Bark better anyway.

I don't know if it is the same for stores in other areas, but Publix has BOGOF for B&J right now. Ends up being $2 each! I only wish they had PB World and PB Jam Session! They also have their brand of IC, frozen yogurt, etc. BOGOF so is $2.50 for a half gallon.

Haagen Dazs Salted Caramel Truffle ice cream. Having had quite a few pints of Talenti Sea Salt Caramel, my expectations were high, but this one probably would've disappointed even without that comparison to make. There was not much caramel flavor, and the truffles tasted like Russell Stover. I've always found Haagen Dazs incredibly disappointing. Even their best leave a lot to be desired, especially when it comes to mix-ins. I really liked HD Peanut Butter Pie too and their Salted Caramel Gelato (I thought was much better than the HD Caramel Truffle IC) other than that, I am usually pretty disappointed in HD flavors.

Let's see B&J Truffle Trifecta (Walgreens), and What a cluster and now Rockin Blondies. Cookie dough and peanut butter duet flavor from Walgreens Good and Delish brand. A Private Selection flavor Chocolate peanut butter mousse or something close to that. I actually threw it out. What a Cluster? Srs? Afraid so! ...and I tried it two times. Forgot I didn't like it the first time.

ooooh, those all sound so good! I didn't realize Candy Bar Pie was specific to Walmart. I was keeping an eye out for it, but apparently, not at the right stores.

I always have some Blue Bell in the freezer. Since being diagnosed with diabetes I'd all but given up hope of finding a good low sugar ice cream, then I found the No Sugar Added Blue Bell and it is the best grocery store ice cream around. My problem is I can't resist buying vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry all at once and then they start to go bad in the freezer. Blue Bell could provide better packaging than the flimsy paper containers. I've tried plastic on the top but what I really need is a 1/2 gallon round plastic freezer container that the paper box will fit into for better preservation in the freezer. Does anyone out there know of such a creature? I've been searching for hours and found nothing that will work. Thanks, and now I'm going to search your site for some home-made low sugar ice cream recipes and pull out my Cuisinart ice cream freezer. I realize this was posted a while ago, but just reading it. You could let the ice cream soften a bit and then put scoop it into smaller freezer containers. That way you can help control the portion a bit too. I have used the Talenti containers to do that before, but you probably wouldn't get any of those since they are definitely not sugar free. I am sure any freezer safe container would work.

I have not tried Rockin Blondies yet, but Peanut Butter Jam Session is awesome. Love it! Tastes just like a PB&J. I don't think it tastes too close to anything else already out there. Even better...try half a bowl of PBJ Session and the other half Peanut Butter World...heaven!

thesolution...agreed! Seriously? There is no right or wrong rating. Everyone's tastes are different and as mentioned above even pints of the same flavor may be different. I don't buy or not buy an ice cream based on the ICI's ratings. I wouldn't rate all the ice creams I have had exactly the same as the ICI, but I am not going to argue about it. He's entitled to his opinion and I am entitled to mine.

I guess I haven't really thought of doing that. I often have two different ice creams in the same bowl so I already have a lot going on. Like B&J Chocolate Therapy + the new Talenti choc pb pretzel. I have had Nutter Butters that I scoop the ice cream up with and then take a bite of the cookie with the ice cream but haven't crushed them up in it. Hmmm, how about crushed up Nutter Butter's in Chocolate Therapy!! I also like any kind of choc/pb ice cream on chocolate cake. Gee, can you tell what my favorite flavors are?! :-)

I really like the Talenti Mediterranean Mint. I don't often get this flavor though so haven't had many other brands to compare to.

Looking forward to both as well, love pb and Rockin' Blondies for something different. Haven't looked for them yet in my area. This weekend I will begin the hunt!

Yes, it is Publix brand. I didn't realize I didn't even put that in my note. Glad to know it is good. Hmmm gooey brownies, now I really want to try it! Thanks for the confirmation!

I was at a Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins combo today and after I get my coffee I like to scan the ice cream selections. There was a flavor of the month called "OREO nutty salted Caramel". Sounds good and different, huh? I thought so. I had a sample taste and it was enjoyable. I plan to get a pint next time I am there. On a different note, I was at Fresh Market to scope out Jeni's Splendid and Steve's ice creams which I had never seen before. They had half gallons of Talenti! I didn't know they existed. Only two flavors though - Tahitian Vanilla and Salted Caramel. They were like $11 each and were in the same clear plastic container with a brown lid only a larger version.
