Graeter's Caramelized Chocolate
Graeter's Caramelized Chocolate is labeled as "Cocoa meets caramel in this smooth blend of chocolate and salty caramel ice creams". Basically Graeter's took their dutch chocolate and salted caramel ice creams and put them together. While this is simple on paper, how good would this be paired together?
In this limited bonus flavor it features a dual blend of their dutch chocolate and salted caramel ice creams. Both flavors shine in an equal ratio with a lingering caramel after taste. The salted caramel is crafted by cooking brown sugar and cream which leaves a bold aftertaste. Simple yet well executed.
Overall The addition of chocolate chips, truffles or brownies would of taken this to the next level! Graeter's is known for their signature chocolate chips, but beggars cannot be choosers. Overall for a base it was well done, it almost reminded me of Gelato Fiasco Dark Chocolate Caramel Sea Salt which was absolutely stellar on its on without any mix-ins.
