I was surprised to find that Haagen Dazs had been hiding an A-rated flavor in the form of White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle.
Are there any other potential A's hiding in the depths that I've yet to review?

If you ever find Cranberry Pumpkin Spice, it is one of the best icecreams I've ever eaten. I remember Spiced Peach Crumble being very good; its an exclusive flavor to what I believe is a Midwest chain grocery store Edit: Just checked, its actually a Minnesota chain grocery store's exclusive lol. www.lundsandbyerlys.com/stores.aspx

I had Spiced Peach Crumble and gave it a B, but I bet Cranberry Pumpkin Spice could make the cut. i really enjoyed caramel cone. better than americone dream actually. but as proven in the bb.com forums, most dont agree with me lol. I was a fan of Caramel Cone too. More so than Americone Dream for sure. I enjoyed: Spice caramel biscuit Bourbon pecan praline Pralines and cream All three are really good flavors. Gave a few of those an A.

I get on kicks of various flavors from time to time, but White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle has always had staying power for me -- the killer subtlety of the white chocolate base, the tangly raspberry swirl, and the slightly bitter truffles. Seems like I keep a tub of it on hand at all times...
It appears I'm in agreement with most here -- Caramel Cone gets an A in my book.
At any rate, funny Jim mentioned Cranberry Pumpkin Spice. When I first tasted that flavor, I immediately recognized that it might very well be the best "non-mix-in" ice cream I've ever tasted. And then I took a second bite of it...and declared that it was the best. Such a shame that H-D dropped it after it had run its limited edition course...
But earlier this year, I sprung into action. I have formally written Haagen-Dazs (on multiple occasions) essentially demanding its return. I will not be denied until it resurfaces. Anyone else like to join in the cause? Hah.

Sounds like I might need to join in on the effort if everyone speaks this highly of Cranberry Pumpkin Spice!

Peanut Butter Pie was definitely an A for me. I was referring to more of the less well-known Haagen Dazs flavors though.

I would have said Chocolate Peanut Butter, but the last time I bought a pint (er, container), I was disappointed. I don't know if they changed the chocolate base or if I got one from a bad batch, but the chocolate flavor was pretty weak.

I've heard good things about this one, but haven't gotten around to picking a pint up. I wonder if it could compete with Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter World?

Peanut Butter World is much better! They both have a saltier peanut butter swirl (which I like), but HG doesn't have the cookie swirl, I think B&J's has a better chocolate ice cream.

Salted Carmel Truffle was the only other one that stood out and Pralines and Cream.

As between H-D's CPB and B&Js PBW, yeah -- no comparison. PBW clearly wins out.
As for a pure, unadulterated chocolate ice cream, however (irrespective of any chocolate bases that serve as a vehicle for any brand's chocolate-based ice creams) -- Haagen-Dazs Chocolate is superior to any Chocolate that I've tasted from anybody else.

That endorsement alone makes me want to pick up a pint. I enjoyed their chocolate in Midnight Cookies and Cream, but I think that's the only time I've ever had it. They should combine their Midnight Cookies & Cream with their Chocolate Peanut Butter. Then we could have a real competitor for Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter World.

I loved their lemon gelatto, but I'm partial towards ice cream on the sweet and tangy side
Not enough sweet ice creams (or gelattos) imo like that
