I tried Rockin' Blondie (again) last night and there is no way this flavor is worthy of an A. It has almost zero distinguishable flavor; everything tastes pretty much like sugar---and that's about it. The mix-in density isn't very high, and the mix-ins have virtually no real taste. I move that you downgrade it to a "B" or possibly a "C" so that others don't make the same mistake I did and pay money for it. I feel you allowed the enticing concept of the dessert influence your opinion of it, when in reality it just isn't very good.

...or maybe people just have different opinions? I agree the base was terrible, but my mix-ins had plenty of flavor, especially the brownie pieces. Personally, I wouldn't give it an "A" but I could see how someone could give it that grade. Heck, I am sure it's probably someone's favorite flavor already. People just like different things.

Okay, so 2 in agreement that it's not an A! This flavor is a real outlier in the ICIs A grouping. Compared to how he's evaluated other A's, this one just doesn't fit the bill. The ICI has been pretty spot on with how I view Ice Cream, and here he just isn't making sense.

Ben & Jerry's Banana Cream Pie, Half Baked, What A Cluster...I'm sure there are a few others. I just think you're going to disagree on some things, everyone likes different things! I think he did mention that the base was a little lacking, right? I think what made him give it the "A" rating were the brownies, which I really enjoyed too.

Those 3 are probably some of my favorite B&J by a long shot. You're only supporting my case here. In other words, I almost always agree with ICI, and in this case, I'm pretty sure he's off.

I've considered downgrading Rockin' Blondies to a B, just because there seems to be such conflicting views about it. My pint at least, was packed full of the blonde brownies, which were far from having "no real taste" as you put it. And the butterscotch toffee pieces were FAR better than their standard fudge chunks. The base, while I agree could have been better, wasn't any worse than their vanilla, and was much better than their chocolate.
When I think C-rated Ben & Jerry's pints, I think of Truffle Trifecta, Cherry Garcia and Cheesecake Brownie, not this one.
Maybe I just got an above average pint as far as mix-ins were concerned. From other pictures, I seemed to have a lot more brownies than others.
I definitely respect your opinion Winston, but all the Graeter's and Jeni's you've been eating may be turning you into an extreme ice cream snob ha.
I still think Peanut Butter Jam Session will rank much higher than Rockin' Blondies.

My toffee pieces are little specs of orange and didn't offer much texture or flavor. The brownies existed, but not in high volume. I have been spoiled; I admit it. I've been on a massive top 5% Ice Cream streak with no intention of backing off soon. Still, though, this Rockin Blondie, at least as a memory-based comparison to the rest of the line, just doesn't taste like an "A".

ITT Someone complains to the Creator of the forum/webpage that his tastebuds are broken. Who the hell cares what he rates a product based off what his Tastebuds tell him compared to yours. Nobody is the same, if you dont like his rating who cares, its his decision and what he feels is correct. Not yours. Your not chad. so your opinion doesnt matter.

Its entirely possible that he got a God tier pint. I personally rated it at low B, but if it had more brownies it would have been an A.

thesolution...agreed! Seriously? There is no right or wrong rating. Everyone's tastes are different and as mentioned above even pints of the same flavor may be different. I don't buy or not buy an ice cream based on the ICI's ratings. I wouldn't rate all the ice creams I have had exactly the same as the ICI, but I am not going to argue about it. He's entitled to his opinion and I am entitled to mine.

I agree. No way with a base like that can it be ranked an A
Brownie and toffee mix in give it a B or pushing B+ if you have a jam packed pint with tons of brownies
A seems off no matter how different people's taste buds are
